  1. Make that 2 of us now Thanks Anyone looking for 2" x 1.5" plastic ziplock baggies? I am an electrician and I get hundreds of them (trim screws for receptacle covers come in them). I'd be happy to send them snail mail in a SASE, say 10 per envelope? Or could leave them in a Sacramento area cache. Also have some 3.5" x 6", but they have a 3" x 3" mfg's logo on them (you could put a sticker over the logo). Email me if interested.
  2. Hey, now I get it. Thanks for the info.
  3. Why do people include the gps in their pix? The photo is too small to read the coordinates, so there must be another reason. What am I missing?
  4. Being a newbie, I have spent a week or so browsing thru the forum posts, getting a feel for others adventures . . . what to watch out for, what is accepted, etc. I have learned a lot from others mistakes and advice, especially when it comes to using my GPS unit. I have read opinion upon opinion, taken what I could from what I agree with, and left what I might not agree with for someone else (hmmm, much like caching). But I am absolutely appalled at the amount of anger and obscenity that some of these posts escalate to. I have read personal threats, seen more stars (edit marks) than a clear night in Yosemite, and have secretly hoped that I NEVER run into some people on the hunt. What a wonderful world I have encountered! Personally, I think I'll spend my energy caching and leave the forums to the more finger-active (no pun intended) than leg-active.

  7. It'd either be "all-u-can-eat" pizza buffet at Metro Pizza or Mr Pickles Sandwich shop (the best sandwiches in Sacramento!)
  8. Great deal on the Etrex Legend, but you have to order online. I was persuasive enough to get my local Wal-Mart to honor the online price plus shipping (a difference of $30).
