On 17th of August there was an outage towards www.geocaching.com, resulting in double/multiple logs. Double logs are comming from cachers using the iphone app or GSAK to log their founds online. Example: http://coord.info/GC4JEQE 8x NightstrikeDC on 17/aug/2013 Please implement a solution to prevent double logs during server connection issues.

I can not connect to www.geocaching.com: The service is unavailable. Server is too busy. It seems the Server Error Connection issues are back again... or is it just me?

FYI: Today, the API response is fast lightning again. All api calls were successful, no more "no response" messages when doing GSAK/Refresh cache data and an avg per api call of 14s Thx API team!

Loading images from the gallery and avatars on cachepage is very slow. Some did not load at all and ended with a red cross. Clicking on an image from a log or image gallery gives the following error frequently: "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later." Is the image server overloaded?

This is due to the server connection issues of the last 24 hours (see topic) Most double logs are comming from cachers using the iphone app or GSAK to log their founds. If you need a tool to search for your double logs >> FindBadLogs

Even a refresh does NOT fix the issue anymore...

If you look at status.geocaching.com : Avg. response time last 7 days 505 ms Avg. response time today 679 ms (= increase +35%)

Same issue here on GC.com homepage and forum. A refresh fixes it.

The "Refresh cache data" function in GSAK with enabled filter of 250 caches. It seems to be an intermittent problem at certain times of the day. Thx for forwarding this isue to the API team.

Same issue for GC41QJY Yestarday: "latest Found-it date" on cachelisting was 06/aug == "Date Last Found" on list my owned caches was 06/aug => OK Today: "latest Found-it date" on cachelisting is 06/aug =/= "Date Last Found" on list my owned caches is now 03/aug ... => NOK (due to a recently-submitted Found-it log of 03/aug)

Thx for sharing the GC-code. The deepest (no cave) cache of the world is Rainbow Hydrothermal Vents at the sea floor 2300 meters down.
