Trackable coins can be sold here, but non-trackables cannot (nor can they be referenced like "email me for non-trackables). Not sure if you knew that, but just in case I thought it best to share that information with you.
You may get more interested parties here because a lot of people don't like to deal with eBay fees, etc. BUT eBay does provide you with buyer protection.
Sorry, no clear cut answer for you.
No, that is good information! Thanks all. I refered to eBay as the "E" site. Long ago on these forms, it was kind of a "no no" to mention them or having auctions running on them. I haven't played on the coin forum for a long time and really didn't know what the temperature of that debate/policy was.
Anyway, thanks for the info!

I have several geocoins that I would like to sell from my collection (approx. 30 different). Do you think that this forum would be the best place, or that "E" place auction site?

I did it for valentine's day one year. I created a cache, painted an ammo can red with white hearts (kinda camo style). It was full of wonderful valentine's day swag. I did not publish it until she had found it on v-day.
The way I introduced it was a valentine's day card with nothing written in it except the coordinates and "have fun!"
It was fun. I hid it in a special place to us and published it the next day. It lasted a year or so but was eventually muggled.

I log my personal traveling bug into EVERY cache I visit including my own (once). It is really only to track my mileage...for me. So I also say...go for it!

I know this is not the correct forum for this post, however I'm not sure that it's really getting the visibility on the cache adoption forum...so thanks ahead of time for the slack!
Cache up for Adoption! The DuncanClan is moving to Utah at the end of June. I have one cache that is in the Heart Lake park in the Anacortes Community Forest Land on Fidalgo Island. This cache is very special to our clan and would like to see it continue to be visited.
Cache information:
If you are able to take this cache please email me!

I am glad you all like the coin. I thought it turned out awesome! I agree, the pictures don't do it justice.
ATTENTION International Trades and Purchases
First trip to the Post Office, I screwed up the packaging (used the $9.50 envelopes instead of the smaller ones). Chalk that one up to inexperience at shipping.
Second trip, did the customs forms incorrectly...okay again learning as I go.
Third trip is tomorrow morning....hopefully I've got it straight finally and the coins will be on their way!
All domestic U.S. orders have been shipped
If you traded or ordered a coin from us, and you don't have it by say...Friday 3/31, email me!
Thanks again everyone!

Most of the coins have been shipped! I'm taking the last batch to the Post Office in the morning. Everyone should have their coins by the end of next week.
If you haven't gotten your coin by the end of the month, let me know!
Thanks again everyone!

Selling Some Coins
in Trackables
Posted · Edited by DuncanClan
I have removed those three coins from the list.
My aplologies. I did not intentionally put them on there as trackables, I have actually activated very few coins in my collection, and thought that they were.
Thanks for the info and keeping me honest!
