  1. Just wondering if anybody knows who me&myshadow is? They(?) picked up our kid's travel bug in Portland, OR. on April 29th and have not moved it since. In fact, they have not even geocached since May 5th. We got kinda worried really and hoped nothing has happened to them! Any info would be great. And if you do know them, ask them to place our TB and stop blocking our emails!
  2. Thanks. We will take a look and keep our eyes peeled for our little TB! Thanks again everybody! lighthousefive
  3. You are right. Five weeks is not that long...unless you have three micro geocachers constantly asking, "Where is the TB now dad?" or "Has the TB moved yet mom?". We won't panic yet though! lighthousefive
  4. Thanks! Don't know how I missed that one!
  5. Anybody have any good ideas on reclaiming TB being held for extended lengths of time by other geocachers? We have a TB that the kids sent out and it had quite a trip until it returned to our area. It popped up at a local cache and we thought about grabing it. Before we got it though it was picked up and is still being held. No responce to emails sent to the holder. Check cache history, and they have missplaced TB before. I completly understand extended cache-less piriods, and family emergencies keeping one from placing bugs, but just wondering if anybody had any ideas that had worked for them.
  6. I was wondering what other people think of FTF's in the way of a multi-cache. Found a cache today while caching with TWOBUGS here in Portland. TWOBUGS found the first of the two part multi, but it was lighthousefive that found the final cach location. This sparked a geo-debate. Please don't get me wrong. In no way did any of us think this was important enough to spend a whole lot of time on, but on the way back to the cars it was at least worth a little discussion. (AND we are sick of being second to find! I want that FTF! ) I am thinking that only the final cache counts as a find, due to the fact that it is the only one that gets logged. TWOBUGS, who has five or six FTF's I might add, wants some sort of recognition. So here is my post... ...and your recognition TWOBUGS! lighthousefive
  7. I would hate to see cemetary caches restricted. The family and I have enjoyed the historic cemetaries that we never would have found if it were not for caches there. Active cemetaries might be a different story. But in all reality us geocachers are probably some of the most respecting visitors that many cemetaries will get.
