  1. Thank you very much for your feedback, much appreciated. I think any TB's / Coins.. some of which are own with no mission as of yet will be accumalating more miles while visiting caches.
  2. Just a query whether a TB or Coin being logged as Visited a cache location should physically have been able to have fit in the container..does it matter or not ?? What do other cachers do ?? We usually only log a visit if it is possible for them to do so..this does not include T's Transport TB ( the car ) Any responses appreciated
  3. We've actually lost a cache while caching, we'd taken the cache into the car to sign the log & take a photo as it was so titchy & fiddly, we were about to return it to it's hide when Z my son dropped it still in the car, we moved seats back & forth, looked in all nooks & crannies, posted a log & an apology on the iPhone, gave up looking, stopped at a nearby house to see if we could borrow a torch which didn't help only to literally pull up at home on the drive & Z saw it lodged in the seat framework, we didn't even get out of the car just returned straight away..what made it worse was the it was a FTF which could easily have been Last to find as well
  4. Thank you for the feedback much appreciated i will get the computer knowledgable man of the house to suss out your replies. here's looking forward to warm weather caching in Portugal. Cheers the pitz
  5. Dog muck / pooh is also one of our pet peeves, we are constantly telling the kids watch where you're walking, watch out for dog muck, mind that dog pooh...realise not necessarily Geocachers dogs to blame it's just the society we live in. We have also come across the little bags just left on the edge of the path or hanging on a bit of shrub growth but there wasn't a bin to dispose of them anywhere.
  6. We're going to Portugal this year on holiday & i've checked to see if there are any caches within a reasonable distance of our resort but understandably all the cache details are in Portugese. Is there part of the Geocaching website where caches can be translated. Feedback appreciated please.
