Well everyone the chef coins have arrived and I must say I am really pleased at how well they turned out. I am starting to go through them and getting them all sorted out and packed up ready for shipment. I will start getting them all sent out starting on Wednesday and will hopefully get them all sent out by this weekend. I will get pictures of them posted as soon as I get my scanner hooked up to my computer. I have tried to take pictures of them with my digital camera but it just doesn't seem to work out very well.

Oh run away!!!!!!!!! It is expensive and extremely addicting. The coins vary in price from $4.00 up to as much as $10.00, at least I haven't paid more than $10 for any coin, and that was for a European coin and the exchange rate and shipping got me. It's a fun hobby and it really is quite addicting.

Thought this was a Q&A thread, not ask us the questions we want asked and we will answer, maybe if we feel it is pertinent. If not we will just edit or delete your posts or ban you from any further posting. I thought Phoenix Rose asked some very good and pertinent questions and yet has still gone unanswered.

They are obviously not going to let personal untrackable coins be sold. They have already locked 3 different posts where the announcment of a new coin was being made.

Maybe it's time to start up our own forum for geocoins buying and selling where we can post what we want without gc having to have their hand in everything. I personally will not pay anymore money to gc for anything. I already have to pay them the $3.00 a month for the "priveledge" of using their site. I'm not going to have them dictate how and who's coins I will collect as well. I wonder how long till the rest of the geocoin collecters get tired of it as well.

I just got my shipping date from Tess at Coins and Pins. The coins are scheduled to be delivered on the 20th of January. She will let me know when they are on the way. Things got pushed back a little with the Christmas and New Years holiday.
