I've seen different user profiles where people have maps that show there finds by state. How would one go about doing this and adding it to my profile?

I just bought a Vista HCx and wanted to download several caches in my area. I've been entering them all in manually. The GC website gave me like 10 different options of programs to use. Has anyone used more than one, and is one more user friendly than another? Also the Vista I bought is used and I went to the Garmin website to see if there were any updates and it looked like there are several. Do you have to do updates in any specific order? The website also says several times that if "this or that" happens it may render the unit unusable? Whats that about?

Is this a disc or on a SD card. If it's a disc do you just download it then send it to your receiver? I hope that's not a dumb question.

I did get the Platinum membership joke, I like the sense of humor. I appreciate the replies. I use a GPS everyday at work in my travels around the country, I had just not seen the "r" part. I wanted to make sure the "r" wasn't some hot rod,tricked out upgrade you could only get on the black market. I ended up buying a eTrex Vista HCx to continue my geocaching. I had an old and I mean 11 years old, Garmin GPS map. It works fine but the signal is not very reliable within 100ft of a tree. Thanks again.

I am familiar with GPS and how they work. I've noticed a few caches that recommend GPSr. What is this?
