How To Remove Custom Poi From Garmin 76csx
Team Morris replied to Team Morris's topic in GPS technology and devices
Whenever you use POILoader to load any POI's, it first erases all that are on the card, then rewrites what's in the directory on your pc. So, just put one file with one point in the directory and rerun POILoader. Kinda kludgy, but is better than taking the card out of the gps unit and sticking it into a SD reader on your puter (using an adapter card). Thanks, I do not want to keep pulling that chip out. -

How Did You Discover Caching?
Team Morris replied to Rose_Thorn's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
My brother called me up on a dreary morning and asked if I wanted to go treasure hunting and I responded yea when I was 10. He said it is a new tech game, so I said yes and we found some. I borrowed afirend GPSr and did a few more then forgot about it. This year we got our own GPSr and the little ones love it. -
Gps 60csx Marking Cache As Found
Team Morris replied to DufferDave & DaffyDot's topic in GPS technology and devices
My amazing wife gave me a 76csx and I'm still learning to use it. i assume your unit is similiar to mine so when you click goto on the cache and then arrive at the cache the left bottom of the screen turns into a found buttion, move the curosr to that and hit enter and the chest becomes an open one on the map. I hope that helps -
Congrats! We find some micros can be really hard. We tried back in 1984 and thought is was okay, We logged back in this year and did our first puzzle cache and now we are in to it!

I would like to see a way to group geocachers and have total stats. for example have 3 individual geocachers (A, B, C) and lets say together they call themselves Team Alpha. I would like A,B,C to have individual accounts and then a way to create a "folder account" that has the cumulative counts from them. What do people think?

Hey! They stoled my idea lol
