but, but, but..... the hike is this Saturday. Now I am confused Okay, maybe I'm just tired still from that other hike, not sore, just tired, I didn't get to sleep last night until after 0100 and got up at 0445.

I'll be bringing mine.

SHOTGUN! 85 degrees and you want heated seats? Hey, it's only supposed to get to the mid 70's on Sunday, a regular arctic weather front.

July 17th So that means this weekend is open. Is anyone interested in a Col Bob warm-up on Saturday or Sunday? Whichever, I'll have to camp at the trailhead. I'll bring the Baby-Q grill and stuff for breakfast in the morning. Scratch that, Tubal Cain should be blooming by now. Any interest? Are we talking day hike, an overnighter, Saturday, Sunday? What's the deal man, give us some details! Dayhike, Saturday or Sunday, I don't care which. If you can get to Silverdale we can carpool to the trailhead. Well, unless the Jeep isn't luxurious enough for you, then we can take the Land Rover. Either day works for me. Do yo have leather seats? Yes, but only the fronts have heat. I can carry three. SHOTGUN!

I think you should get a Land Rover!

The Sunday Creek Bridge on the North Fork of the Snoqualmie River is in place and the road is now open beyond the bridge. Thank you for your email and interest in the Sunday Creek Bridge replacement project. The bridge was opened for all users on July 1st. The Contractor is doing final clean up work but the bridge is now open. Thank you for your patience with this project. Larry Jaramillo, P.E. Supervising Engineer

Uuuhh, yes. Alot of us have dropped some serious coin on campground stay, as crappy as that may be, we should definately come up with a plan B. I'll be waiting to hear back on this. We all still want to camp at Bumping Lake, since we have reservations, just looking for another nearby geo-hike option if Aix isn't available. There's Fryingpan Mt. Except for the last mile, which climbs to 5700'(2000' less than Mt. Aix) most of the hike stays below 5000'. Rough estimate of the hike is 13 miles R/T.

I was thinking about taking Metro to the event but it appears that Metro doesn't run in the valley on the weekends, that or my Metro route finding skills really suck ( a definite possibility).

The Mutt piloting the SS Minnow on a beautiful September afternoon.

There's still room over in site 46, when I reserved the site I reserved for 6 people just in case. I'm still trying to decide whether or not I want to bring the tent trailer. Well, heck, wish you'd said that before I reserved a separate one. I tried to email Chris to offer part of my site, but the email bounced, so you can have him. I thought I did but rereading my e-mail I guess I didn't, but that is what I meant .

I went ahead and reserved a campsite (no. 46) at the Bumping Lake Campground for both Friday and Saturday nights. I figure I will be pretty sore and tired after the hike and driving 4 miles back to the campground is going to be much easier than driving all the way home.

I'm assuming the date we're talking about is July 17th

I plan on being there to "Attempt" to make it to the summit. Will probably head over Friday afternoon and stay at the TH overnight.

You Suck! I'm heading down to Mt. Rainier for the weekend or I'd be there like stink on 5Hlt.
-
I calculated 578 feet.
-
I may be there, depends on how I feel and what the weather is doing. If I'm not there @ 0930 don't wait.

Let me know when you want to do Tubal Cain. I remember the first time I did the trail a thought how cool it would be do hike the trail during the Rhodie bloom.

For the adventurous there is the World Record Series. It will take you to at least a couple of the more obscure parts of the area.

The HOTM is usually on Saturdays.
