  1. I try to change mine monthly but its alway a picture of my Landrover at or near a cache with a really awsome view, can I still use awsome?
  2. This looks like it takes you all the way to George, WA on I-90 then back to Wenatchee. It's I nice drive and I did it on the way to the WCM but it is a lot longer drive. Typically I head east on I-90 then get off at Cle Elum and head over Hwy97 (Blewett Pass) Google Map & Directions for going over Blewett Pass
  3. This may be something to think for Saturday during the Campout or Sunday as we are heading out. If gets as hot as the forcast is suggesting, 95 on Saturday & 99 on Sunday, many of us wetsiders may be melting and a dip in the river will do us some good.
  4. My son stopped over in Kuwait on his way back from Afganistan a couple of weeks ago and said it was 140 deg there. He leaves on Thursday morning to go back and says he's not loking forward to the lay over, because it feels like your in a hair drier.
  5. Blayne has traveled 1959 miles. The two I received at the June WSGA meeting have traveled a total of 103 miles.
  6. I will take 2 metal coins for the grandkids, Poindexter & Semore and a bunch of the wooden nickles depending on price.
  7. Hope you'll be bring some of that to the drawing.
  8. Bug-A-Boo will be in Port Towsend the 16th & 17th for a DOL users meeting. She is hoping to be back in time for the drawing but just in case is submitting a proxy.
  9. Or Pocket Pool Parlor if you want to do some driving around the Burien/White Center area, but that could take 4-5 hours to complete.
  10. If you are running palm software make sure that hotsync is turned off or you won't get the PC & GPS to talk as Hotsync wont let the port go.

Welcome to the PNW Thanks! It's actually more of a welcome back. I'm from here originally, and only left so that my wife could finish her PsyD. It's good to be home, for sure. I can't wait to get my Disco out and get its feet wet. Watch out for Screws, those Disco tires are expensive.
  12. Thank goodness for small miracles. Edit: Still learning to spell
  13. 3 please
  14. Amen brother. There is absolutly no reason to encrypy a non hint. If you don't add a hint the cache page already says "No hints available", so either add a hint or don't. Don't add a non hint.

  16. Bookmark for Liberty-Beehive Caches Here it is. There are 20 caches between Liberty and Squilchuck State Park. Some are drive bys. Some require taking a side road or hike. Cool, thanks. Looks like a Friday afternoon adventure.
  17. As a suggestion for those coming to the campout from the wet side, via Snoqualimie Pass and I-90 and Blewett Pass Highway 97, you can get to the campground by taking the Liberty-Beehive Road, and pick up many caches along the way. Microsoft Streets and Trips shows this as not a through road, but it is. Turn off Hiway 97 at the Liberty road (approximately N47 14.586 and W 120 41.844). The first couple of miles is paved, then it becomes dirt all the way past Beehive Lake and finally connects to the paved Mission Ridge road (a short distance from the Squilchuck state park campground). I highly recommed this way because there are nearly 20 caches, most are drive by, but the scenery makes it worth it. It can be bumpy in some places....ok...really bumpy in some places, but still worth the drive. Take in some side roads (off the Liberty Beehive road) along the way for more caches with awesome scenic views. How about a bookmark of the caches along the route? I won't be doing it on the way over or back as I will be towing the tent trailer but it may be somthing to do after getting there.
  18. When getting an error message in regards to my above post I am given the option to edit the macro. When I click on the "edit macro" button it open a new macro sheet, shouldn't it open the macro sheet in question?
  19. I just updated to the newest version, now I have a couple of macros that don't work. Macro 1 is a macro that runs a filter to find all disabled/archived caches then moves them to my Archived Dbase. FILTER <Name="Archived"> MOVECOPY <Settings="Archived"> Macro 2 does the same as #1 except it looks for my Found caches. Now when I run the macro I get an error message that says it can't find the filters that are called out. FILTER <Name="FoundFilter"> MOVECOPY <Settings="FoundFilter"> I have made no changesd other than updating to the new version of GSAK. The filters are still there, I can run each filter and they still work.

  25. Caching close to home, that's a new one. Some serious consideration has begun.
