Vehicle Static Cling/Decal/Magnet Travel Bugs?

Be kind, I am a newbie! I have a Geomate Jr so I am unable to hide a cache since it will not give me Lat. & Long. I was at a greet and meet on Friday where some people were talking about a vehicle being a cache using a travel bug. I have a travel bug that I bought on geocaching.com (I bought it before I knew what to do with it) and then I saw on ebay where someone will make a decal for my vehicle using my travel bug numbers. My questions are, is this possible to do with your vehicle? What suggestions would you have if it is possible, as far as logging or ????? Also how do I go about posting the 'vehicle bug on geocaching.com? I hope you all don't think I am nut. I just started doing this sport and I LOVE it!! This weekend I found a travel bug in a cache (my first one) and I am so excited about finding the perfect cache to put it in now. I was just a little dismayed when I found I couldn't hide my own bugs because the Geomate Jr. does not allow you to do so. Thank you one and all, Happy Hunting! -

He is asking $100.00. Now we are thinking about getting the geomate jr since it would get us started at least and it is less than $100.00. Plus we can get that new from REI. Geocaching.com is out of stock. -
:huh:Tomorrow we are meeting a man who is selling his Magellan Triton 500. We are new to this sport and so we are not sure if this would be a good GPS unit for us. The Magellan we have is for cars only. I do not want to spend a lot of money and his price seemed to fit our budget. Like I said we are just starting out geocaching and if we really get into this sport than we can upgrade later if need be. I was just interested if anyone could give us the inside scoop about this unit before we lay the cash out for it. Thank you for your time
