That sounds like it would work. Does anyone else see a problem with the way it's done now? What's the feeling about how the TB's are logged? Has it always been done this way or has anything else been tried? As members who haven't been at this very long, we don't know the history and how the web site has progressed.

I think it's great that you can deposit a TB from the same page as you're logging a cache find. However, wouldn't it create a cleaner transaction if we could also log picking up a TB from the same page? It seems that so many cachers miss the step of logging the TB as if they think that telling about it in their cache find log is all that's needed. Hope I'm making this clear. It makes sense to us, but we don't have the tech ability to give a suggestion as to how to implement it. Please forgive this post if this has been covered before and just isn't workable. The fact is that so many of the travel bugs get moved physically, but not moved on their web sites. Thanks for any feedback.

As a fairly newby, what is the proper etiquette of geocaching in regards to revisiting a cache? We have revisited a local cache (logging it as a note) in order to place a TB. However, we're not sure if it's considered proper to do the same to pick up a TB if we're going to be traveling. Sorry if this is a rehashing of an old question, but we did look in the faq's and couldn't find it addressed. Thanks for the fun of the hide & seek.

We tend to try to trade evenly. Everything that we've taken out has already been placed in another cache or is waiting to be placed. We just really try to have fun with the whole game and not get to hung up about the value of items. If we have a TB to place, we might take out something extra if it won't fit. We love to find the TB's and always take them so that we can move them on to another place. We've placed several TB's of our own and it's kind of dissapointing to see them sitting in one place when they really "want" to travel. I guess we were hoping that they'd head south for the winter so they'd have a chance to keep moving (traveling). The whole idea of trading to gain things (to keep) never entered our minds until we read the threads containing the complaints about the kind of stuff left. Sure do hope we haven't been part of the dissapointment.
