  1. Bumping this thread back up, because it's a great idea. I just went through and deleted some logs for my earthcaches where cachers never sent in their answers even though it's very clear on the cache page that logs without answers will be deleted without notification. I wonder how many people actually read the cache pages these days? I think all log deletions should require a short explanation. I know I've never deleted one without a good reason, and I'd love to be able to tell people why without having to follow up with an email.
  2. Doesn't seem like it would be that difficult to do a retro souvenir, especially since the actual graphic is already made. How hard could it be to make a bunch of happy people even happier?
  3. I think the key is as the previous person posted, which is clearing out your old PQs prior to adding new files. I have a 550t, and I have experienced this issue before as well, and I had gone over the allowable caches for the unit (which actually takes A LOT to do, since it will hold 5000 caches & 2000 waypoints). As for adding PQs to my unit, I simply upload the files through EasyGPS.
  4. There is already a thread on this topic. Cast your vote here: http://feedback.geocaching.com/forums/75863-report-a-problem/suggestions/1613315-return-the-smiley-faces-on-found-caches-on-the-goo?ref=title
  5. "High sensitivity" doesn't really have anything to do with WAAS. Many times two the capabilities coincide, but one isn't really dependent on the other. A mere technicality... my point is that this unit IS a high sensitivity receiver and is also WAAS capable.
  6. Your 60CSx IS a high sensitivity GPSr and should be nearly as accurate as any of the new ones. "High sensitivity" means that the unit is WAAS enabled, and the 60CSx has this, although you should check the settings to be sure it is actually turned on. Also, make sure you have the latest firmware installed on your unit. One thing I have realized, though, is that Garmin's firmware versions are sometimes a bit flaky from one release to the next. Another thing to consider is batteries. Sometimes rechargeables need to be replaced, too. Newer is not always better. I love the features on my Oregon 550t, but it sends me spinning in circles sometimes just like any of the others. Sometimes its the weather or the satellites themselves that mess things up. Try the firmware and/or batteries on yoour unit before getting a new one.
  7. My 1000 PQ's are still not showing up under the download tab. It may be that since I ran these queries last night, I cannot run them again for three days, especially the MyFinds PQ.
  8. I get the same thing whether I log finds with the iPhone or on the computer. What I am seeing is that the MyFinds query picks up on the date I actually enter the log rather than the date that I put that I found it. In other words, if I find 10 caches today but am not able to log them until tomorrow, then the GPX file generated from the MyFinds query will show that I found those 10 caches today. However, my calendar on the geocaching.com site shows everything correctly. Go figure. It's too much of a pain to edit the date for every cahce that has the wrong date, too, but I was kind of bummed that it makes my streak appear broken.
