Rattlesnake Island cache was muggled...what types of caches do you like? How far are you willing to drive?

With receipt of some additional information from hiders we have officially exceeded 90 confirmed cache hides for the event. With another 15 waiting for cache information!! Great job by the hiders to date!!

The pictures are mainly from the Kelowna area and Coalmont/Princeton areas...most of the terrians are rated 3 and below so they look higher then they actually are

A friend of mine created a video/slideshow about geocaching....Kelowna Geocaching Club is a small facebook group.

There are still caches in Washington to search. One cache is gone for goodness sake. The tunnel is still there and so are numerous other caches. Seems a bit melodramatic to cancel travel plans over one cache. Maybe I should re-phrase...my kids want to go to the GPS maze in Alberta this summer but we had already planned this trip first. But since this iconic cache has disappeared whats the rush? Cann't we come to Washington another time, to try the other caches and tunnel!?!

This is too bad...I was planning a trip to Washington to complete 2/3 of the triad, while at the two events later this summer...I understand and support Groundspeak's decision but it still is a bit disappointing. I guess I will be rethinking my travel plans...

I like the professional feel the site now has, it is definitely more streamlined looking... That being said, I am using windows 7 with internet explorer 8 and I cannot get the map personalization to work at all. ie...I do not get smilies or stars when I turn on the personalization, and the caches do not disappear when I shade the smilie/star in the personalization section. Email me if you want a screen shot or more info on the system I am using Cheers
