  1. Now that's the spirit! Those vehicles are still worthy of a waxing, though. I'm shocked and appalled in that I have the grubbiest, nastiest, "most likely to get stuck or broken and abandoned" vehicle posted so far. Considering it's held together with sheetmetal screws, expanding foam and creative welding, it may be hard to beat in that respect but I suspect there's one or two more courageous souls out there risking life and limb when driving over 40...
  2. First, what does the stat bar have to do with vehicle bugs in particular that it doesn't have to do with all travel bugs in general? Second, The only other thread I can find about vehicle travel bugs is the one where somebody is selling decals and window clings. It's a sales pitch for the product, not a show-and-tell about the vehicles. Third, my request for pictures of TB vehicles was intended to attract the creative or unique, not the family car wih a bumper sticker. Sorry folks. I'm sure you like your fine automobiles but I doubt they will ever be seen on a two rut track up to the rims in muck. On that note, let's expand the parameters to include all caching-mobiles. Let's see your down and dirty don't care if you scratch it type rides.
  3. I recently tagged my caching car on a whim, only to find that there is fairly substantial group of other vehicles roaming around the backroads and buggy trails awaiting discovery as well. Show me yours, I'll show you mine...
  4. Stolen Stolen Currently roaming around the Pacific Northwest U P Michigan If I had my way this one would always be heading for another cache but I have to spend some of my time working, shopping or mowing the lawn.
  5. I released a couple clever bugs, one was called Destination Unknown and whoever picked it up was to decide not where they would drop it but where the NEXT finder would drop it. Instructions were to take it to the destination cache that the last finder had requested and write in the name of a cache not too far away for the bug to go to next. It was stolen from the place I dropped it. The next one was a little crock which finders were supposed to trade goodies with local themes, like event keychains or city/state fridge magnets and the like. Take something from where the crock had been before, put in something from where you picked it up and send it off to someplace new. It was stolen from the place I dropped it. Now I have my caching car listed as a travel bug. I thought I was doing something really unique and clever. Nevermind. It looks like the idea is somewhat popular already, to the end that someone is marketing custom magnets and window clings to make vehicles into travel bugs. Oh well. This is the only one of these around my neighborhood, so THERE! HA!
