  1. The very first cache I found had a geocoin listed on the site, but it wasn't in the cache when I got there. I mentioned this fact when I logged my find. Haven't found any other caches since then, but I'll go looking more on the weekend during the day and hopefully have better luck. As soon as I manage to find a wild geocoin, I'll be snatching it, logging it, and finding another cache to hide it in. Hopefully won't be too long. You go phantomreader42 and the best to ya. Geocoins are addicting that's for sure. They are so beautiful. Good Luck.
  2. I am still a newbie - 6 caches found, no DNF's so far. Today is the second time that the info on a cache indicated that there was a geocoin or trackable item in the cache and I found nothing. Actually the first one I found only had room for the log and it was the one noting a trackable. I found another one a few feet away and there were many things there but no geocoin. I have found a geocoin before so I know what they look like. Am I missing something or is it common for the item to have been taken and not recorded as such? Very curious as I was so disappointed. TIA for the help. Kathy

  5. Hi, I am brand new to geocaching/gps and am new to the website. When I bring up the home page of geocaching.com there are coordinates in the box that allows you to search for geocaches. These coordinates are totally wrong for where I actually live. Where does the site pull this information from? I would love it to be correct so I don't have to always type in the actual coordinates. Thanks for your help.
