Yup, all the roleplaying dice! I left a few today, and I definitely like keeping them with me for caching. Small enough they can fit in even some small caches, and I can easily dump several of them into my pocket before setting out.

I'm brand new to this and haven't had a ton of time to find caches, but I've recently bought a whole bunch of d20s to trade/leave in caches. I figure they'll be unlikely to be ruined by wet conditions and ought to be appealing to both kids and adults.

I'm new to this and the forums, but to me, "encourage" would be something like "you should go do this". Meanwhile, the educational events that have been discussed would be more like "if this is something you already want to do, here's some tips on being successful at it". I'd describe that as "informative" rather than "encouragement". But I also think this is a "divided by a common language" problem. Exact interpretation of the words used is going to vary by country, region, and individual. And this is likely to be true for any combination of words.

Hi, recently new to this hobby and currently using the app to navigate. It seems every time I open the app, it runs through the "welcome to geocaching, let's look at a cache near you!" prompts, which I'm taking as a new user's tutorial of sorts. I assumed it would only show up once, but no. So I decided maybe it would clear out after you've found your first cache or two, but no. Is this intentional behavior? Something that goes away after X many caches, a specific setting, or perhaps it's shown to basic members but not premium ones? Or is my phone just being buggy again? I've tried searching the forums and a bit of google searching, but I've found nothing of use so far. It's not a deal breaker or anything, but minorly annoying enough to at least ask.
