That's a lot of money for a gps'r that's been discontinued. For $200 you can get a newer, better gps. Even on ebay used pn40 & 60 are going for $150 plus. I have a pn40 that has the latest firmware, mine came with topo 8.0 which I don't use. My pq's I just drag and drop onto my sd card and I'm good to go. I keep it as a back-up to my Oregon 450 sure like the bigger screen on the 450 but the pn40 is just as accurate and does paperless geocaching.

I was sad to see that happen. The pn40 & 60 is still a good gpsr, I would not buy another new one because they're discontinued. but still work as well as any of them. I have no problem downloading caches to them through send to gps or using pq's. Using send to gps you have to use ie 11, will not work on windows 10 edge browser. There still getting a high price for them on ebay, if I found one at the right price it would make a good spare.

I still use my PN40 as a back up, still a great gps. Will not work with windows 10 edege browser. use IE 11 and if I remember, it will also work with fire fox. I download a PQ once a week and load them on both my Oregon 450 and pn40 to keep GC's up to date

Well I just tried it again, Clicked on search with filters and it scrolled through all 618 caches, go figure! I don't know what changed but it's working. Whatever magic you performed I thank you

It's difficult to say based on that description, but if you do your search and then copy the URL from the address bar and post it here, we will be able to see the search you've defined and may have some ideas. url is https://www.geocaching.com/play/search/@35.22275,-81.38965?origin=N+35%c2%b0+13.365+W+081%c2%b0+23.379&radius=20mi search page only shows orioginal 126 caches. It lists 618 finds but only one page. Where are the rest of the pages?

changed filter from 10 to 20 mile search showed 618 results but only displays same 10 mile search. What I'm I doing wrong?

Problem Solved! Just click on torn page Icon in top bar. Thanks for your help 360^

On the cache pages I no longer have the maps showing, just an empty box. Also when I click on decript hint pointer jumps to top of cache page. I know somethings changed on my computer as this works the right way on my wifes computer. Can anyone point me to what might have happened and how to correct it. I don't have any problems with any other programs. It seems to be specific to geocaching.com. Thanks for Your Help 360^

I was wondering if the lowrancelady could check on why map select is not working. Spoke to CS two weeks ago and they told me they would let the server people know there is a problem. Still not up.

The problem with adding as a waypoint is that when you get near GZ it say's you have reached your destination and your waypoint is gone.

I'm a premium member, downloaded a PQ of Maui and when I click on download waypoints in comes up as loc. I have it set to gpx when I set up pq. What am I doing wrong?

GPS send does not work with Mozilla Fire Fox
360^ replied to 360^'s topic in GPS technology and devices
The DeLorme Send to GPS plugin does not work with Firefox 3.6. This has been posted many times over the last 2 months on this forum. Use another browser, or roll back to Firefox 3.5.x. Thanks dakboy, guess I need to spend more time on the forums, Just read the answer on the Delorme forum went back to firefox 3.5.8 and send to gps works fine -

At a little more than 2X the price of the above after the current rebate, the Oregon 450 won't cost a person a Biltmore budget (just noting your location for the first time). What I can't figure out is why the 450 is continuing to see price erosion, but the Dakota 20 isn't - at least not to nearly the same degree. Best deal I'm seeing on one today is $305 before rebate. Edit: One popped up at $297.49 here, pre-rebate price: http://www.gpsonsale.com/garmin/products/Dakota-20.html I think that's the first one I've seen sub-$300. Also take a look at Delorme PN-40 -

Thanks for the tip Andy K, I can get it to work with Internet Explorer, this is something that happened recently I always used Mozilla before. My pn-40 rocks! I think I will keep it -
It will work with IE but not Mozilla Firefox. Reloaded Plug-in still says plug in not found. Using a pn-40, any ideas? Thanks Bruce

Need help getting caches to download into PN-40

Do you have the plug in installed? -
I'm new to geocaching, using a Lowrance Globalmap100 a 10 year old gps. One cache at gz I was almost standing on it. Other caches within a few feet. I've been looking at newer gps but what would they do better then the one I have? What would be the advantage of replacing the one I have now?
