  1. Gday Great Scott, I didn't mention finding tool the clue was use the 5th attribute, which was water. I told reviewer in our discussions it was available at the sight. But because a tool was required(water) it was a puzzle.
  2. With an attempt to publish a new traditional cache I was knocked back and told to make it a Puzzle due to the fact you required a tool to retrieve. I tried to discuss with the reviewer but bottom line was make it a puzzle or it would not be listed. The co-ords put you at the GZ and you just require something (which is also there for you) to retrieve the cache. I know a lot of cachers that do not have puzzle caches on their notifications but it might be time to look at them as not all will be difficult puzzles to solve. So heads up and check puzzle caches, they may not be a puzzle at all!!!!!!

    URWIGO builder

Hi All I have just downloaded Urwigo. Is there a step by step guide somewhere that I can follow to try and create my first Wherigo? cheers Adrian
  4. Have had a play and it seems to be a JAVA issue. Can not get it working properly, appears to be up to date. Not sure what the issue is will keep working on it, at least it is not Geocaching site. cheers Adrian
  5. I can set one off in Victoria, Australia if you wish. That should be far enough away for you. cheers Adrian the 1SR part of VKC1SR
  6. Thanks 7RXC I did have it selected as I have noted that issue of it no selecting correctly as well. Just as an update it appears to be an issue with Firefox, I use IE and it has worked fine. I have also noted that the cache page does not load correctly in Firefox, can't see favorite details properly or the enlarged map down the bottom of the page. I am guessing it is a Firefox issue and not Geocaching. cheers Adrian
  7. Is anyone else having issues logging TB's. I have a car TB decal and drop it into all caches I visit. I logged caches yesterday being 5/3/11 here Australia. At the bottom I selected visited for my bug but it has not logged it. thanks in advance Adrian
  8. Gday All, Just wondering of those that attended the Geelong get together on 16/8/2008 GC1D2Y2 could you please log any trackables you took. There are still a few listed in attendance. I will also post this on Aussie site. cheers Adrian
  9. I found the first Wherigo cache in Australia today using my Imate Jam PDA phone. It does not have a built in GPS so I used a bluetooth GPS and it worked well. This style of cache is great and was a lot of fun
  10. Welcome Pradogang TFTC = thanks for the cache TNLN= took nil, left nil happy caching
  11. Well we have finally had a Wherigo cache here in Australia and we got a FTF. What a great idea it was brilliant to complete. I used my Imate Jam with a bluetooth gps unit and had no issues. there are so many possibilities with this I can really see these taking off. Hopefully more devices will be able to use the software for more people to enjoy. Great idea. thanks
  12. This is one I made myself and have had good comments on. I have hidden it in a tree but not a pine tree so it stands out a bit. I purchased a micro container, small round steel cylinder and cut a pine cone in half. I then placed the micro inside amd to open you unscrew the pine cone. Took me about 10 minutes to make. sorry not sure how to put a pic on here

    TB files

Hey excellent improvements recently on the site. I was wondering if it is at all possible to add TB or Geocoin info into .LOC or .GPX files. When out caching and I find a TB or coin it would be great to know what the mission is or some of the previous caches it has been to so I am not collecting it and taking it back. If this is already possible please tell me how? thanks Adrian (VKC1SR) p.s only new to paperless caching!!!!
  15. Hey Carolyn, I think Bushfire is looking at making a cache for the day!!!
  16. Only problem with that park is the lack of facilities!!! We could look at the park in Leopold as it has large rotundas.. etc etc
  17. 2 new caches??? Hmmm interesting. Only problem with new caches is all you other buggers catching on to our early start or late night caching!!! How rude!! As for the poetry... lovely.. but I think I'd stick to ya day job.
  18. Excellent to hear people are keen, will wait and hear feedback from people going to Bendigo. We were thinking of a bbq so it is family friendly in the area somewhere. Adrian
  19. Hey all, Just thought I would create a topic where we can all discuss what is happening in the area. i.e ideas for caches etc. I for one have started the Bellarine Rail trail series and I have plans for more. Nich (VKC) and I (1SR) are considering creating a cache get together and was wondering if anyone had ideas of where we could all meet. anyway look forward to hearing ideas. Adrian
