  1. I just got my auto nav kit last week with v5. When you register it and get the unlock code, you have the chance to upgrade to v6 for free. They will send you a disc. As far as the beanbag mount in the kit goes, we used it yesterday on a trip and it worked great in a Dodge Caravan. My 60cs was within my reach and my daughter could see it from the back. Good Luck
  2. I just got citi select 5 and have loaded certain areas around the country. Is there a way to check how much of the 56Mb memory is left for more maps? Also, if I delete an area out of the GPSr, do I need to put the basemap back in off Garmin's website, and if so, does that overwrite all my other areas in the GPSr? Kind of a run-on question. Sorry. Found the part about basemaps etc, but memory question still in play, and to add to it, if I add one city temporarily, and just download it, does it erase the rest of the areas I had loaded? This stuff is fun but confuses my old brain!
  3. Thanks for the advice. Is there a way to reverse this setup so that during the day the backlight doesn't come on with a button push?
  4. Can't speak for others but my 60cs correspoonds well to both our Caravan and Neon. Don't know how accurate those are but haven't got a speeding ticket yet!
  5. I've only had my 60cs for a week but so far it is great. I compared the 60 and 76 at Cabelas both indoors and outdoors. I chose the 60cs mainly because of the size and the fact that the buttons are on the bottom, not the top. Both had awesome displays. Either way I think you get a great unit.
  6. Just got my 60 cs on Tuesday. 1st GPSr and having fun so far. Three questions that I haven't found answers to yet. 1. Is there a way to turn the backlight on other than pushing the power button? 2. My version is 3.40. Is it worthwhile to get the upgrade to 3.50? 3. I ordered the nav kit with cityselect, 12v cord, and mount. Any other accessories anyone can recommend? I plan on doing some family geocaching and using it to make up for my lack of direction sense while driving. Thanks Shell
