Zig and Zag

The other day my wife (Zag) ask me what does SL mean? I told her to search the forum. She couldn't find/remember our password and the search feature is not allowed unless your logged in. So today I looked up our password and tried to search "SL"..., Nope,... it wont let me search a two letter word! So I thought about it for awhile and figured somebody must have asked about other acronyms . So I tried TFTC, and found this thread and sure enough,...... somebody did happen to mention that SL means "Signed Log". WOW! Its not like it cost money to type more letters or something,... come on people, type out the whole words. If you are texting I can see why, but this is the internet and you can use as many letters as you want. When I was getting into Ham radio I was told to not use a bunch of codes when on a voice mode of comunications,... just say what you mean and keep it simple.

Get this, I was able to log on from my laptop, when I used dial-up! OK, how do I make this work from our new dsl browser?

We did just istall DSL, but that should't make a differnce,...should it?

It's been awhile that I have actually loged into Geocach sight. So today I thought I would log on and change our e-mail address. It won't let me log on, so I have them send me my (name & password) on the forgot password link. GOOD, it works... Then I copy and paste them into log on page. And guess what...THAT don't work. What gives? Any ideas?

Going to Grand Canyon area for vacaction. (Geocaching) I need to know if you guys do anything differnt then us midwesterners? I know we should wear long pants and use a stick to check for snakes, but is there anything else that this Indiana boy should look out for? Beter to Zig then Zag!

Man did our area drop off. Hardly any activity happening around here since it got nice out. We have been geocaching since last fall, thru winter, and I figured it was the slow season. Boy was I wrong. The grass started growing and no one around here is doing any geohunting. Is this the way it is (going to be)? Im OK with it, just a little surprised. It will probably pick up next Fall. Beter to Zig then Zag!

We were there visiting in-laws a few weeks ago, never went to any of the parks, but we did do some geocaching in Fl. There are a lot hidden around Orlando. Beter to Zig then Zag!

GPS manufactures, are you here listening? Mind you, I dont have real bad sight, but I would like to have a bigger screen on my future GPS. Don't need to make the unit any larger, just make the screen BIGGER! Maybe a remote screen that you can plug in(color would be nice) that We can velcro to our dash? I would be willing to pay $$ for a option like this. Any other people think the screen on there $500 GPS is to small? Thanks hope this gets seen by someone who can make a dif. I agree with Warm, Make it easy! I know Zag (my other half) will want to find it. Make it too hard, and you will indirectly drive me crazy. Zig Beter to Zig then Zag!

Spent the weekend at St.Louis area gecaching, and seeing sights! Took us six hours to drive, slept in the back of truck. Went thru Bush plant! Found 11 caches! Five and half hours back (must have drove a little faster), and now we are home, tired, but happy. Still havent loged any yet, will do them this evening. St. Louis area is a great geocaching area! Caches everywhere! Zig Beter to Zig then Zag!
