I don't know about the comparison with the 76CS, but I just got my 60CS today and so far think its great. I was sitting in my family room tonight learning the system, and noticed that I was getting 3 satellite signals! I always had to got out on the deck to get my Etrex Vista to get a lock. I haven't been able to go caching with it yet, but I used the map/auto routing feature tonight in the car. I set it to autoroute for Home, but had to make a few stops. Everytime I got off the route it would re-calculate and figure out a new route. So far I am impressed!

How Can I Improve My Cache Finding Skills?
WildwoodBob replied to Highpointer's topic in General geocaching topics
My solution is my 10 year old son. He consistently finds the cache while I am still futzing with the GPS. Hmm, perhaps I should learn from him now -
The sample coin is on the way and I will only be ordering 300. One-hundred for trades, etc. and 200 to sell. As of this post there are only 11 left. I will post further details about cost & delivery soon. WildwoodBob

My son and I have been caching since October 2001 and decided we want to get into the personal Geocoins. Our design is finished, but I haven't decided on how many to order yet. I want to find out how many folks would be interested in purchasing and/or trading for the coin. If there is enough interest in purchases, I would order enough (up to a point) to cover the demand. I didn't think that adding $1.50 per coin to track them on Geocaching.com would be worthwhile, so I didn't pursue that. It looks like the coins will be about $5.00, $5.25 each.

I also had a problem with the CGI script (McAfee) and have sent an email to confirm the order.

FYI: The 60CS is selling on Amazon.Com for aroung $380. The 60C is going for around $360.

Mine should be here in a week. I am also looking forward to it.

I also use the Tracks Sherlock Walking Staff. The AT in our section of PA is quite rocky and I find the staff invaluable when traversing a particularly rocky section. I also like it on the steep climbs and descents. Not to mention how useful it is when poking around those dark holes under roots and rocks.

Count me in too. I am in the process of designing my own coin, so trade or purchase would work.
