  1. Good luck to you all. Looking forward to seeing you all at the finish line
  2. I was sat at the computer a few months ago when I spotted a tiny green spider on the window. As I'd never seen one like it before I took some photos. A month later we saw it again after it had died & I managed to get some cool close ups. For a spider as small as that you can see how they can bite - he had awesome fangs!
  3. Thanks, I've reinstalled the scripts and Edgemaster's Enhanced OS maps on cache pages has returned to normal but for some reason I can't get the OS map linker to work. Strange how it occurred at the same time on the laptop too, must have been a firefox or greasemonkey update? I'll keep trying!...
  4. Have anyone else's greasemonkey scripts stopped working over the last couple of days? (The "OS Map Linker" is no longer there and the "OS Maps on cache pages" opens up at the grid reference SV 00000 00000 on all cache pages). Just checking to see if it is a geocaching.com update that's caused it before I start uninstalling & reinstalling & pulling my hair out!
  5. I have just emailed you before I saw this!!! We visited today and I have just phoned them. Looks like a no but they said to the managers discretion they may put a television for people to watch??? Not much help but I think I know your answer now lol!!!!!
  6. Just been to check out the Nutwell today and the carvery smelt gorgeous. Looking forward to seeing everybody on Saturday Tammy x
  7. You have to hover your mouse over the "Map" button and click on the little OS Map pop-up window that appears (it only works at certain zoom levels though).
  8. In that case don't read this thread on nwcaching.co.uk , but it looks like rogerncook may be a good contact for you in Oz. Yes he has been in touch and we are meeting up when we arrive. I think we need very long sticks for Geocaching in the outback!!!!
  9. Hope you all have a fab camping weekend. Sorry we cant be with you for this one.
  10. I hope the Australian spiders are a bit more friendly when we move over in a few weeks
  11. That's nice to hear a good story like that. I remember when we found "My Favourite Beach" cache near to Brixham, the previous logbook entry (which was very complimentary) was by a member of the RNLI who had come across the cache whilst out shooting rabbits!
  12. G'Day sports! With our impending move to Australia less than 8 weeks away, it is sadly time for us to put our caches up for adoption. The list of them is here. Obviously ignore the event! . Also, we'd like to keep the earthcache, and "How slow can you go" has been accounted for. Apart from that they're now all up for grabs. Anyone interested, please email us through our profile & whatever we have left by the end of October, we'll retrieve & archive. Thanks, Martyn
  13. Not seen the one hidden in Google Earth yet but there's a fun flash version that uses Google Maps here.
  14. Finally our plans for the weekend are in place and we will leave Portsmouth early Saturday morning and join you on the Saturday night. Thank you so much to our lovely friends the Phillimore's for letting us borrow a tent. Looking forward to seeing you all
  15. 10 weeks today and we fly to Australia and our lives are all over the place. A very kind offer to borrow a tent and we have been persuaded to attend the Shropshire Event for 1 night. Sorry we wont be able to make this gathering but hope you all have a great time.
  16. If you want to borrow a tent we can certainly help you out. We have a Vango 500 (4 man I think) and stacks of smaller tents for the young Hancocks. Or if you want something bigger for the whole clan the Scouts have a nice Wynster Hotel 8 that I'm sure I could borrow. Thanks you so much Phillimore Clan. Will ask Mr H when he gets home later. It would be great to catch up with you all before we disappear Mr H has to go to Portsmouth on Fri/Sat now so we won't be able to make it. Hope you all have a fab time and thanks Phillimore Clan of your offer of a tent. We hope we get the chance to catch up with all you peeps before we leave on 5th November.
  17. Firstly, we would just like to share with you all that we have, at long last, just received approval of our visa applications for Australia!!! !!! As there's no stopping us now we are holding a leaving event before we head off to the other side of the world to go and live in Sydney. This will be an evening get together in a largish family pub, but early enough to allow those with children, or from a little way away, to attend should they wish. The event will take place at the Saddler's Arms in Exmouth, Devon on Saturday 13th October 2007, 5.30pm till late. WARNING! Arachnophobics should not click on the following link! More details here. _______________________________________________________________________ Also, earlier that morning, a group of crazy Devon cachers (team-name: Caching Commando!) are taking part in this year's Commando Challenge on Woodbury Common in Devon! Kinkykimbo (our illustrious team captain) has organised a 'spectators' event for anyone sadistic enough to watch us being put through so much pain! This will be a 10:00am meet, with Caching Commando's allocated set off time being shortly after 10:30am. We should hopefully finish the course some time around lunch? Details of the event are here. You could then do some of the many caches on Woodbury Common and in the area (and hopefully some new ones for that day) finishing off with a bite to eat later on at the Saddlers. But more importantly of course, get two event icons in one day!
  18. Going to leave Portsmouth early Saturday morning and hope to be with you about 1ish
  19. Congratulations Stuey and Terry from all of us
  20. Typical! The minute I post on the forums I find a way around it! Replaced the line... <xsl:number/> with... <xsl:value-of select="gpx:name"/> Yippee!!! I haven't a clue what I'm doing either - just copied the line from my cachemate export xsl file at a guess! Thanks anyway Matrix!
  21. Not sure if this has already been discussed but I can't find an answer in any other threads. I've just decided to treat myself to GSAK version 7 and now when I export HTML files they're listed by the waypoint name (GCxxxx) instead of numerically as in version 6. This is fine until I run my custom export using Roolku's script with the following edited lines: <xsl:value-of select="gpx:name"/> <xsl:text>", "</xsl:text> <xsl:text>\SD Card\Cache\</xsl:text> <xsl:number/> <xsl:text>.htm</xsl:text> I also run a cachemate export, which works fine after a couple of tweaks in GSAK but could do with some help for the HTML one please. Not sure if I need to edit the above lines of script or whether there are GSAK settings I need to change. Any help would be really appreciated! Pulling my hair out (and there's hardly any anyway!). Cheers, Martyn

  23. With so much to try and do and with time running out fast (12 weeks left ), a very sad day happened this week when we sold our beloved caching Tent We hope you all have a fab time and sorry we can't make it. Tammy
