I'm new to this group so if I'm doing something wrong let me know. My Garmin GPS 12 needs a back housing, the one that holds the 4 AA batteries. If anyone has a unit that is no longer operative, please get in touch with me. The unit works fine on external power, but I can't find a cord long enough to use on a hike. The battery compartment is cracked to the point of NO FIX. Thanks, Richard likearock@verizon.net
