I bought my E-trex Legend at Wholesale Sports in Lethbridge for $236.88. I bought the Topo Canada CD at CanTire for $199.99. I tried to get them to price match GPS Central...no dice for online or out of town stores.

I am fairly new to the sport and have already done most of the caches in the local area. I am now required to drive at least 45Km or more to locate caches. And it will only last a short time. I am making a request to all Lethbridge area cachers to consider hiding caches in our vecinity to help propagate the sport here. Even if they are just microcaches, at least it is new and exciting. I think that is a little harsh. I'm sure nailing one to the wall is excessive punishment for attempted dog murder. Perhaps letting the dog chew on his privates would be more appropriate.

I am very interested. As a matter of fact, my brother-in-law and I were just talking about it last night. His topo maps have benchmarks indicated, but there is no way of honing in on them to locate them easily. It would be very cool to be able to do a search for them here in Canada.
