Lots of people place these kinds of things. That's the only way I've logged some of them. Here's a map of these tags in the wild: https://www.geocaching.com/play/promotions/ninjaturtles?id=3&utm_source=TMNT&utm_medium=TBpromo&utm_campaign=blog
Oh wow, I didn't realize they were already in play. That's exciting! Hopefully they'll make it to Japan

I believe they do check, and if folks are just keeping them, they probably won't be given the opportunity again...
That's really cool and good to know! I'll definitely apply next time, thanks for the info!

Out of curiosity, do people actually place these in caches or only keep them as collectibles? It'd be super cool to see one in the wild heh.

Visiting Dayton, OH to run the Air Force Marathon, hoping to find some sweet caches, plus leave some trackables ??

It did bug me that I had to wait until Sunday to start geocaching when I had planned to go out Friday night, but not getting that Mystery at the Museum challenge has definitely given me the fuel needed to try and accomplish this one. Already scoped out ones near the bf's home and will hopefully land one a day. 1 down, 6 more to go. Happy caching!

American living in Japan My friend, PocketDoc, introduced me to geocaching and I'm hooked! Introduced it to my boyfriend, Plevits, and now we're a geocaching team <3

Went to Asakusa, we got stuck on one and decided to hit up an Owl Café. Totally refreshed we went back on the search and found it!! Three finds and two DNFs, it was a wonderful day and we ended it at the Ninja Restaurant in Akasaka

Watching a "stuck" coin
in Trackables
Posted
Soooo I found this coin in Japan and it was super cute! Then I dropped it off in Alaska and a short while later it was picked up and taken to Arkansas. I've been watching it since it was the first geocoin I had ever found. But now it's been stuck in Arkansas and I noticed the user was still geocaching, but hasn't dropped the coin off anywhere or updated any coin info. Should I be the one messaging them? Or should I leave that up to the owner? Just wondering.....thankies
