I'm still waiting on mine too. I ordered last thursday 9/2 and was supposed to get it by 9/9. Called yesterday and was told it is coming from the manufactuer because there dc is out of it. Hopefully won't have to wait to much longer.

I always take my kids. They love going out. I have found this is one thing we can all do together and not have anyone complaining. It is amazing how we can hike a few miles and be extremely hot and no one complains about anything. It is a great family activity.

I'm a mom to 3 girls and we all go geocaching. We just got started about a month ago and we are hooked. My husband goes with us sometimes, but so far he isn't addicted like we are. My girls are 8, 4 & 18 months. They love the hiking and "treasure" hunting. They especially like finding foreign coins in the caches.

Well, I just got started and I am hooked. I take my kids with me, they are 8, 4 & 18 months. I don't like to go with just the kids. It is too unsafe...not necesarily other people, but SNAKES!! There are tons of snakes around most places and we have been seeing them when we go out. My mom has gone with us a few times and so has my sister (although she is ready to deliver her baby, so she can't go too far or on hard hikes.) Trying my darnest to get my hubby to go, since the kids look forward to going any chance we get. I am looking for a partner/buddy in my area. So if anyone is in Lancaster, SC, email me.

Hello, I'm in Lancaster and just got started geocaching about 3 weeks ago. My kids and I are hooked. We look forward to going as much as possible. Trying to get hubby to go with us though. If anyone else is in Lancaster and wants to go with us, let me know, we are looking for others to cache with.

I'm gearing up to really get caching in the fall. It is just too hot here in SC in the summer. Plus, when it cools off I won't have to really be concerned with snakes!! Saw 2 over the weekend while caching and found a copperhead skin. So bring on the cooler weather.
