It's been my experience that the colder it gets, the less output the NiMh batteries produce. Have not tried putting these types into a fridge/freezer and then measuring the voltage.

I've been using Eneloops since they've been introduced in my eTrex GPS and aviation gear that take AA batteries. Highly recommended, and they won't lose a charge over time like other high-output NiMh batteries (2700 PowerEx) I use for my dive camera and strobe. I wouldn't use them for high-drain devices like digital cameras if you're going to shoot a lot of photos over a short period.

Had to do a reformat and start fresh. What I tried: 1. Reformat and restore after removing suspect PRCs from Cachemate installation- same problem as before. 2. Deleted all PDBs from backup folder, reformatted and restored - same problem. Something I had installed previously apparently didn't play well with Cachemate. I reinstalled Cachemate and so far all's well.

Prefs settings all look fine.

I'm working on going paperless with a Palm Tungsten T5 and downloaded Cachemate to give it a try. After installation per instructions and a sync, I got a hard reset and then the graffiti input area at the bottom of the screen would not show. The graffiti area is now white, but does have limited functionality. The icons at the bottom of the favorites screen is also white. I uninstalled all of the PRC files and did a hard reset. Still no joy. Short of a complete restore, is there anything else I could try? Thanks!
