  6. Ive installed the Wherigo builder, but Im unable to start creating zones from the map option, I get an error, Ive attached an image of the error
  7. This is not geocaching as we know it, haven also do it, I enquired last year, someone comes in and sets up some checkpoints, you all set off and the first one back is the winner they must have an app or something or load waypoints on a gps, I think its more of a mix of orienteering and caching maybe
  8. Started having problems a few days ago, the cache name and ability to select the cache was gone when you hovered over it on reading the article http://userscripts.org/topics/115329 I removed the original script, I installed Tampermonkey then reinstalled the script, I now do not have the map options in the top left corner, Ive tried a different script manager and also installing the script manually, without any luck, the map preferences are set to leaflet, Im having to use firefox at the moment, but do prefer chrome
  9. Just cut below the lip at the top of the bottle. Put another cap on this end with a generous amount of appropriate adhesive. (This was my own test version. I did not post those other pics. I cut off the yellow band where the other picture left the black band between the two caps.) Glue a neodymium magnet into the end for more fun! Ok, I just ran out to our recycle bin and pulled out a bottle and a couple of caps. Cut the neck off the bottle and put the caps on. Very easy. I understand that the adhesive will be gooped into the bottom of the cap that will be installed on the cut end. One question. What is the "appropriate adhesive"? I would prefer to avoid the trial and error stage of this project. There are several adhesives in my shop, but most are for woodworking and won't be likely candidates. i have tried a glue ment for plastic and the one i am making right now im going to try some epoxy with this type of cache, I cut two bottles right next to the lip then glue the two lips together and apply a little glue to one of the caps this ensures that only one top unscrews
  10. A copy of what I sent to Dalesman Hi I noticed you recently published GC2A8NZ, but the cotftf series are no longer to be allowed. I do not understand the reasoning behind this, as nobody forces a cacher to go be the ftf of the series, and therefore having to place a cache, it is down to the individual cacher to make the choice. I was ftf on one of the caches in the series, and had already made the decision I would place a cache if I got the so called curse. once I had the ftf, it then fell on me to find a suitable location for a cache, as it would with anyone who places a cache I do not see how this type of series could damage caching, as I would think that because the caches are placed by seperate individuals, there is more variety. although I do enjoy a good series, I would be more cautious over a particular area being flooded with a series of a high number of caches, or the fact that archived caches are not removed, as for instance I was out on a walk, and found a cache that was archived four months ago I hope the cotftf type of series can be resurected, and allowed to go on regards eddie his reply Many thanks for your comments which would have more impact if placed on the relevant thread of the Forum. if anyone knows where else to post this please contact me or feel free to copy and paste it
