  1. I think keeping the state side the same is a great idea, also correct me if I'm wrong but that should make the cost of the coins less as well. I know when we order coins for our unit the price is cheaper if you use an exsiting mold.
  2. This Cache Rocks, and I got my first Moun10bike coin GeoRoo thanks for a great cache, Roy thanks for a great day. Jerrod
  3. I can’t imagine it would be that hard, there are a bunch of cachers that are military and go overseas all the time. I have a friend who is on his way to Germany next month and I’m sure he could get the bug to Japan. Just email or PM me, I would be happy to help you out.
  4. I would like at least two.
  5. I hope everyone has a great time tomarrow I had every intention of going, but then the Seahawks had to win the division so I will be there screaming for a victory, but again I hope you all have a great time.
  6. That’s easy for me, since I’m new to geocaching (I just hit double digits) My favorites were my first two. “K” which was my first find ever and Bagram bug box, which I was the FTF and not to mention they were both in Afghanistan. Looking forward to 2005
  7. I have one and it Kicks a**, I take it to work and snipe my fellow military cops with it all day long.......Oh fun fun Joy Joy. And when they ask to see it, I put it away so they cant build their own. Today however my boss threw the big marsmellows at me and called them grenades.
  8. 8 years in USAF and counting. Security Forces but looking to try Recruiting for a couple of years.
  9. Nolenator, I was in Izmir, you must have been very lucky Turkey is home to one of the largest fault lines in the world the North Anatolian fault. Izmir is also right on the coast so we felt just about all of them.
  10. I was stationed in Turkey for 18 months and I bet we had at least one a month, but I was there for that big one that Im sure you all saw on tv, that was pretty scary.
  11. How old is your unit, mine stopped tracking satalites, I called them and they said to mail it in and they would fix it, well it was so broke the sent me a brand new one and sent it next day mail. Garmin is the only GPS I will ever own.
  12. For all you Coin lovers out there, I place a pretty nice Defensor Forties (Defenders of the Force) Security Police Challange Coin in Steilacoom Stash this afternoon. Good luck.
  13. While searching for the phatboyz fort cache, I was unable to find the cache but stopped looking after about a minute when I found a used syringe in the area I was looking for the cache. I’m a cop in the air force so luckily I had my gloves on, I placed the syringe in one of the many 20oz soda bottles that was in the area. I just wanted you all to know and to be careful.
  14. If any of your are intersted in those coin case's let me know, they sell them on base here and Im willing to bet they are cheaper than on line. I may be wrong, I will go price them on Monday and let anyone who is intersted know.

  20. You all have very nice collections, I have a ton of military coins, but I guess that doesn’t mean much in the Geo-caching world. I have thought of leaving some in caches but since I'm new not sure if people would be interested. Any advice would be great. Thanks

I think we should give people the benifit of the doubt, Ive had a TB for about 2 months now, I picked it up in Afghanistan and had every intenition of moveing it when I got back, but my GPS quit working and they are not cheap to get fixed, but the good news is I missed a DHL delivery on Friday and I belive that was my little friend. So with any luck I will be back at it by wensday. Any way I could be wrong maybe the kept it, but I like to belive in people.
