  1. Sure don't mean to add to your load SQ, but... when did you last update that order processing list? I ordered a gold this morning - no techno glitches 'tall and have an order number, but don't seem to be on the list (yet?)
  2. Sounds like good fun JD. I didn't think I could make it, but it now looks like I may be free that Saturday. Anybody need a teammate?
  3. Just got back to Left Seattle - in short: tooooo fun! (though we really must rethink the notion of dumping an entire raft of geocachers into the drink....) Major thanks to all who made it all happen, with special thanks to ms. robinatchee for the comfy sleeps!
  4. Yippity-skippity... Am on my way out the door! 497 new WenatCHEEEEE-centered wpts in my GPSr and PDA - am off for some wet 'n wild geofun! See y'all tonight at the Wok About!
  5. Gosh Ambrosia & robinego - thanks! Lessee... a couch? a bed? Honestly either would be great - I'll bring a sleeping bag, so whichever is easiest on you folks. Then again... given that Allanon snubbed -R- in favor of crashing at Ambrosia's, perhaps I best opt for the cats, dog 'n teen. JUST KIDDING!!! Seriously - whichever works best for you guys. I'll meet y'all at the Wok About Grill at 7ish.
  6. Goodness, it's JUNE already? Haven't had much spare time lately to follow all the pre-adventure chatter here, and just realized the G(reee-ate)GRE is - holy smokes! - this coming Sunday! Truly sounds like THE best of fun, and surely can't wait to meet y'all. But I didn't realize it was such a drive over there, so am now wondering... Any chance of an extra cot somewhere for an orphan globalgirl to crash on Saturday night?
  7. Rats! As I clicked on the BCE lass' new event thread, I thought - YESSSS! I WILL make one of her infamously kewl cache capers for sure! Ah but ACK! On the 15th you say? Ugh! I'll be flying back from Illinois (following a birthday fete w/ my Pops, along with - hopefully a smiley on the IL A.P.E. cache.) Can you spell D-A-N-G-!-??? Sounds like great fun. Surely sorry to miss it.
  8. I believe the cache you're seeking is... Very Bunny [o.k. leave it to both the Rover of land the seeker of "Hyd" would beat me to it by but 2 minutes...]
  9. HOLYMOLY!!! - To quote ARJ: Goodness but there ain't nuthin' I like better than rafting a river. Have run most every river in OR (incl. a 5 day white-water canoe trip down the John Day - the weekend that Mt. St. Helens erupted!), plus a handful of honeys in other exotic corners of the world. And there's caches to boot, you say??? Zippity-doo-da, color me... T-H-E-R-E!
  10. Sorry Allanon, I seldom have a spare moment to amble through the forums, but... Dunno 'bout Whidbey, but I believe you may mean Ben Geo'en from Whittier. I met him on the Grrreeeeate Alaska Cache 'n Dash last fall and noticed he was grabbin' boxes down here recently.
  11. Woo HOOOOOO! Congrats to both Northwes and Ladybug Kids on 5 !!! I suuuuuure hope to get up there and grab a few with you guys (not to mention my dd, weizguyz) again some day soon.
  12. Uh... sorry to wax wishy-washy on this again, but - given that we're less than 18 hrs. from projected Blast-Off II with no confirms on this one (not to mention I'm personally sitting here pecking with a head the size of the WA A.P.E. cache ammobox - can you spell acky h-e-a-d-c-o-l-d - ugh! ), I just spoke w/ the cinco centavo lad and... We've collectively decided to put this one off yet again. Next week looks a tad soggy weather-wise, and we'd truly like to include our favorite geolad east of the big puddle (MA) so - ideally we'd rather shoot for a Friday date at some point - likely now not 'til the dawn of June at the earliest. Hey, the dastardly dim sum surely ain't goin' nowhere anytime soon, so we'll post another Plan of Attack on Evergreen's delectible Feast in a couple 'O weeks (and the nasty nettles 'n thorny thickets be damned!) [edited to acknowledge the Rover of Land's late-breaking - yabeatmetoit by a mere minute - post. Nonetheless, sorry, but unfortunately, C5 and gg are out for manana.]
  13. Just talked w/ the cinco centavo lad and - we're thinkin' maybe next week is better. How does next Wednesday sound?
  14. CENT5 and I have been threatening to give this a go - soon, before the bushwacking grows dasdardly nasty. We're thinkin' this coming Thursday - anybody else up for runhills' full-meal-deal? The Invitation...
  15. Indeed, oddly enough, I do believe it was waaaaay more fun in the rain. I mean, this one proved even more slosh-sodden than "River Song", my heretofore "MOST INSANE CACHE HUNT EVER" up in Alaska on CENT5's legendary ACD adventure. Truly, such nutso flailing amid the rain and mud is arguably the very essence of what geocaching fun is all about! Then again, try explaining that to your neighbors/spouse when you come limping home covered in mud 'n nettle welts, looking alarmingly like a wet rat!
  16. Sounds like good fun - you can count the gg in as a dd. And thanks hydnsek, for organizing these geocapers!
  17. Ditto here in Left Seattle - 2 of the suh-weetest honeys arrived on the snail today. One engraved (at the last minute!) for my geopal CENT5, and one festooned w/ my own geohandle. Thanks ever so much Alex - you've truly done a fine job of it here. And that frosty beer ever awaits your visit from the Motherland!
  18. Now that's just plain slime... Meanwhile... anxiously awaiting the dubloons here in Left Seattle.
  19. HOLEY SMOKES! The cinco centavo lad has gone and done it AGAIN! Likely they'll be dropped on our upcoming georomp - ah but I shan't blabber when or where...
  20. Yup, you're goners all right - surely addicted indeed. Welcome aboard the geozanies train - bound for most any blessed micro, ammobox 'n tub-'o-tupperware tucked most anywhere on the Planet! If you ever need a bit of assistance (like... a hint on one of my - allegedly "dreaded" - puzzle caches, for instance ) - do feel free to give a holler.
  21. Yup - blessed member of the former here (the ACD gang - THE most fantastic geoadventure ever!), and proud dubber of the latter - the local TUS acronym. Oddly, some seem to have taken the fanciful term all personal-like - geesh, "after school" indeed!
  22. Ranking creative genius would seem a moot exercise 'cuz each of these gems rightly stands alone as singularly deliciously unique. That said - my personal favorite? The one that I'm next blessed to find!
  23. Should be fairly instantly. You may have to "refresh" your page to see them.
  24. First geocoin ever? Ah that would have to be an original Moun10Bike wooden nickel - found in the nifty "Sparky" cache about a year ago when I was but a noobie with 19 finds. And just this week, I was blessed with a gift from the tricycle lad himself - of a WONDROUS v. 3 Moun10Bike dubloon that I shall forever treasure. Nonetheless, nothing will likely ever surpass the thrill of first spying that suh-weet wooden nickel in "Sparky".
