  1. Circles is the trail name I used when hiking. I would do section hiking, sometimes hiking north and sometimes hiking south. While hiking sections of the Appalachian Trail I would meet thru-hikers, I would be going north one day and going south another day, so they wondered if I were hiking in Circles.
  2. I use spray glue to attach a piece of aluminum foil on the back, people just sign the foil and it shows up quite nicely.
  3. In the finest traditions of CITO I purge EVERY cache of objectionable materials, dog biscuits, chewing gum, condoms, bibles. They all go in the trash - where they belong.
  4. [size=7] Where are the hints? The don't print out decrypted. HELP
  5. I will have to admit that I coined that term. Because Seattle is the home to Geocaching and Seattle is the home to computers it refers to any puzzle that needs you to get into the inner workings of the computer to solve, e.g. the answer is hidden in the Source Code, or it has something to do the with dimensions of the picture. My brother is a well known "evil" cache hider in Seattle and when he was helping me put some out in Maine he thought that I should give no clues at all but I felt it necessary to "warn" the Maniacs what type of puzzle it would be. (And having a cup of coffee in hand doesn't hurt)
  6. CONGRATULATIONS TO HARRY DOLPHIN FOR HIS 1200TH FIND (THAT'S TWELVE HUNDRED) AT THE LITTLE RED LIGHTHOUSE AND THE BIG GREY BRIDGE. I'M RIGHT BEHIND YOU - WAY BEHIND YOU. CIRCLES
  7. I coined that term to mean any mystery puzzle in which you need to solve a "computer" related puzzle. For example, you might need to get the dimensions of the picture to get the last three coordinates for the Noth/West coordinates. Or you might have to go the the Source Code. Or you might have to find the coordinates in the background green color. Or the coordinates might be in braille in the picture.I refer to them as Seattle puzzles because Seattle is the home of geocaching as it is the home to computers.
