Deirdre's Explorers

Once again, we add our thanks to Algonquin Bound for all his efforts in getting all our TB's out there and moving on. 4:30 a.m.??!! - that's definitely above and beyond. I hope you're able catch up on your sleep pretty soon!

Don't know about everyone else, but we certainly don't mind that you took the time to move the TB's. Without a little help, they all could have sat there for a long time. Thanks for making that rescue mission, Algonquin Bound. We're looking forward to seeing where they all get to from here on in.

We had the same reaction about the multi-cache placements. Especially when some logs have noted it was difficult to find. But, with the number of TB's in each cache, it could take a while for some to get moving from either. So, I guess we'll all just have to hope for the best and cross our fingers that, with better weather coming, cachers will start getting out, visit these two sites and really get this race going. I'm just hoping Utsman finds time soon to update the racer page, or post a note here, so we'll feel more like this adventure has really started.

Lisa got me a BFL, I got her a BIG waterproof tote for our canoing caches. All three of us got more warm clothes for the winter caches. S'mores maker for the camping/caching weekends. Deirdre wanted her own GPS, but we thought 7 was a little young! Maybe next year. We split 50-50 on a PDA. Woohoo - Deirdre's Explorers are finally upgrading and going paperless. Yup, Christmas was great!
