Some anoxic bloke with a long scarf made a chronological inexactitude in the logbook on Snowdon's Pyg Trail cache. Thankyou Mr Snaik. I'm completely new to this internet geocaching system. My neighbour is showing me how it works. I haven't yet looked for or found a geocache, but I think my son can be persuaded that this is something which is better than football.

Is geocaching part of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme yet? My 12 year old son wants to know. I'm trying to understand what this geocacheing thing is all about, so it's wee bit difficult for me to explain to my son. Would it be cheating if he claimed a geocache find which he actually did with me?
