  1. great time of year they picked! it only gets to the mid nineties here the summer where I live!
  2. hey just wondering can I hide a glass geocache? I've seen a few but I've heard that you no longer are allowed to hide glass is this true, I did not see anything in the guide lines saying anything on this topic.
  3. sorry to make it more confusing for you but not all trakables are geocaching.com's other websites also have trakables to that can only be logged on their site.
  4. I would go out there look for them IF you don't find it then I would log as "could be missing" then give the CO a month to post a note or give some indication that they'll check on it then if they don't THEN you post a "needs archiving" log.
  5. then wouldn't people start logging finds as DNFs to get to the "amount" of DNFs required for the challenge, and I think it would make honest loggers not look as hard for a cache! I have 92 find and only 16 DNFs half of witch I think are gone (based of pervious logs) the other 45% I think I just missed and 5% I'm not sure what to think.
  6. just curious how did you discover this? not saying you did it just curious
  7. sorry answered my own question right after I posted the comment
  8. I wonder what they used to carry them all? lol, I've seen that to on a few of my caches.
  9. ummm can I down vote a comment?
  10. I think I know what code it is. a nice puzzle
  11. the age old question: should I trade for trakables or just take them whit out leving anything in the cache I retrieved it from?
  12. how about free?<unauthorized link removed by moderator>
  13. can the cache owner even delete needs archiving logs?
  14. some time its because of low Wi-Fi reception that wont let caches load right
  15. I've dropped pebbles in caches for "prof" I was there when log was absent or unusable
  16. some times it impossible to log a cache I have failed to log a few cache because the log was unsignable and I don't always have extra paper with me.
  17. here how to do it on my computer is this how it looks on yours? all tough I all most all ways use "Browse Geocache"
  18. yes I was a victim to auto correct
  19. I usually drop trackables ASAP however I have kept one for about a month because I was going to be able to take it to one of its goals in a few weeks after I picked it up and after its goal was reached I had a hard time finding a big enough cache to place it in. I admit I did a lot of "visits" how ever I made sure to post many pictures of the TB.
  20. I defiantly agree that you should hide one! but make sure that the cache you hide is the kind you like to find! if its not a memorable cache don't hide it! there's already plenty of non-merable caches out there. plus if local caches like your cache it just might encourage them to hide similar caches.
  21. I have the same problem but I have not found a good way around it besides thinking like you are going to hide a cache there and cover more ground looking for the cache. (witch some times is 50ft + from where the GPS is saying in wooded areas)
  22. okay thanks I do every everything out of actual website
  23. Geocaching.com would not let me make an account with out verifying my email address. so is this an older account or do you not have to verify your email address on the app?
