Hey Syn, Champoeg is a state park, so as cool as it is that you're in touch with the Portland parks people, it may not be relevant to the Champoeg get-together.
I would really like to do this on free-parks day. I know we wouldn't get our yurts for free, but it's still pretty fun. Last year there were a lot of people, but I don't think that we bothered them or that they bothered us much. either Saturday or Sunday is fine. If it's a Saturday, we can have YurtFest2003 Sat. night and if it's Sunday, we can do it the sat. before.
Are we going to be pulling ivy again? Because if so, i'm not going to drink the night before. Ivy-pulling sucks while hungover.

.... And what a charmer he is! He IMed me on yahoo! messenger twice this morning. The creepiest part was when he knew exactly what I was wearing!
I now have a list of four suspects, each with reasons why they may be Dr. Isotope, as well as why not. So far none has fit perfectly into the profile. When I do figure it out, however, Dr. Isotope (YES, YOU!) will only have one chance to convince me to join his evil plot. Otherwise, I'll be telling his identity and his plans to the world!

i have the golden spike and have dropped it into Absolutely. if you haven't done this virtual, be sure to do it before we meet this wednesday. you can do it the evening of, just allow yourself about 1/2 an hour to do the cache. you can take the max to the area with ease. we'll all meet up at the final coordinates at eight for some old fashioned portland geocaching revelry.
i would especially like to se trafcon there, so that we can all celebrate his one year anniversary. i'm sure we'll also have a beverage to commemorate factal's 100th find.

I, for one, am excited. I hope you guys don't get too spooky on me, though, because i scare very easily.
And happy wedding, soup and soupette. I'm sad that i can no longer marry soup, unless we move to utah with soupette. and i think utah's a little too hot and dry for me.

well, as noted before, i am not free on tuesdays. alas, i will now never get my hands on the spike. i'm glad that more people can make it to things on tuesdays, but i sure do miss wednesdays...

acutally, this is the only weekend until december that i could take off. it's at the begining of my week long fall break. in fact, i could also do it the following weekend. but after that, no way.... it's work, work, work for me.
also, slinger, if i have to sing ANY kareoke, then i am soooo gonna get "very sick" and have to miss the event.

i have a seminar class every tuesday from eight to ten, so i'll have to pass on this one, and any other tuesday or thursday event from now till december. it's probably better because i'm trying to be a reasonably productive student in my last semester of liberal arts hell. better late than never, i guess.
have fun everyone. i wish i could be there to get the spike, i'm finally wanting to set up a wednesday night event.

oh fractal! i am dying of anticipation! you couldn't have picked a better day, either. it's the day after my final, so i'll be ready to have some guilt-free fun for the first time in a while.

i wish tuesdays were better for me because that seems like a day people are free for. however, i can PROBABLY do wednesday the 20th. but a certain important project is due one week after that, so i'll have to see a little closer to the date. count me as a strong maybe.
