  1. Where or How does the completion code get displayed to the user. I have a code in the cache that the user is required to input and if it is correct it marks the cartridge as complete. However when testing in the emulator, the unigue closing code does not show up. Is that just an emulator thing or is there some specific code I need to put in the cartridge, and if so what is that code? Thanks
  2. Thanks again. I just started a new cartridge and everything is working great. Must have been some corrupt with the original. I was pulling out my hair wondering what I was doing wrong and it was nothing. The cartridge was just bad. Thanks again for your help.
  3. Further to my last post, I added an item with a "Pick up" command to it in the new cartridge and it also works. In the original cartrige, when I added the command to an item, the command did not show up when I clicked on the item but the item disappeared from view and went into my inventory. I'm starting to think there is something wrong with the original cartridge and I need to start over.
  4. Thanks for your response. I didn't think you could make characters or items active, just visible or not. I created another quick cartridge with a zone and a character and put the command in for the character and it works in that cartridge but not in the original. Not sure what would cause it not to work in the original cartridge. Any Thoughts?
  5. Thanks redsox mark. I must be missing something. I have created a command for the character "Storyteller" called "talk to the Storyteller". It has some scripting including a message box where the Storyteller is talking to the player. I have placed the character in a zone. Upon entering the zone the character becomes visible. The character shows up in the menu but when I click on it nothing happens. Sorry for my lack of understanding, but I must be missing something simple. Thanks for your help.
  6. I am working on my first Wherigo. I am aware of the "on-click" limitations for characters and items with regard to the Garmins. I read that the workaround is to create another command such as "talk" or "pickup item". I know how to create a command for a character or item, but I am unsure of how to get the command triggered. Can someone help me out? Also where does the command show up in the game for the player to activate it?
