I agree with the others that an article on a newer geocachers would probably make a good article.

That would be the big problem with it, as I see. There are a lot of Geocacher's that visit the forums, but there are a vast majority of cachers that never visit the forums, so it would be useless or in-effective

I'm preparing Terry back in the garage, and he should be packed up in the hauler and headed for the track on Monday.

How about this then? Instead of having a specific cache to get to, why not ask that the TB's picture be taken at the main entrance sign at the track. This avoids the competition aspect that has been argued about for a while now, and also makes a great momento to the TB owners How's that sound?

In this competition, TB's would start at in a cache by me. Then, They would make their way to 10 sites in a specific order. These sites could be close, or very far away. The objective would to try and make as many laps around the country as possible in a one year timespan. A TB would get a point everytime it gets to the next cache in line, and recieve 2 points for every "lap" that it completes. The travelbug with the most points will be deemed the winner. If two or more TB's have the same amount of points, it will come dow to who has logged more miles. This would be called the Rubber City Roll Off, as the start/finish line will be in the Akron OH Area, and the preferred vehicle is a car or a car related item. So, would anybody be interested in joining into the race?

Well, personally, I think that if you wanted to have a competition, Competition Caches should be set up. Some people might not want their cache getting cluttered up by Team Finds, while others may like the idea.

here's a good idea for a prize, if we got enough people: A Geocaching Die-Cast car! I found this site while I was searching all of my NASCAR Sim game sites. I could paint up a car with the Official Geocahing Cup logo on the hood with a geocaching color scheme That could be an awesome prize!
