  1. 8 pm MEZ Please correct if I've got my calculations wrong. Germany is currently in CEST (UTC +2)Central Europe daylight savings. So that converts to 1 pm in Chicago, UTC -5 for DST ( central daylight savings)
  2. email sent, I'd like the lizards if they are still available.
  3. This is a great looking coin. I also favor the silver. Please keep this thread updated as to when they will go on sale.

    MWGB Egg

Thanks for doing this, it was great fun searching. We found a Mystery Chicken tag and the Egg. I had to do the dance in the midway on the way to the closing ceremony. We had 8 people and Altima at the picnic and instead of making two trips we were stuffing all 8 into the Altima when a nice stranger offered to give some of us a lift back to the bash. That stranger turned out to be none other than Raine. Thanks for the ride we had a great time and my Lackey coin is a cherished part of my collection.
  5. Nice coin, Reservation made, Just click on the Red "reservation" text under the pics.

  7. Wow, Coin looks great I definitely want in on this, will be watching this thread for the sales notices.
  8. You can't track micro chips via satellite, you have have a reader and be a few inches to a foot away at most. I've chipped my parrots and dog. If they show up in some vets then they will know who owns them. To be able to transmit a signal to a satellite would require a pretty big battery and antenna, not possible in a micro chip yet. Just like people steal rare paintings, they can't show it to anybody so why steal it. "My Precious" nothing will deter the true hoarder. edit: fur spelin
  9. +1 I also frequent Reef central com. When people ask for advice about keeping saltwater reef systems they can get a wide range of answers. And the +1 is used to mean you agree with the advice given by another poster. some answer can be very long so it's a lot easier to use the +1. So if you get three different recommendations but one of them gets 6 +1 that's probably the way to go. sometimes You'll also see them increment so that the first agreement is +1 the 2nd agreement is +2 etc.
  10. You also log a note not a another find on the cache to pickup the coin or bug.
  11. Just placed an order for this unique looking coin.
  12. email sent. I love native art and this coin rises above just a geocoin, it is a true work of art worthy of being proudly displayed.
  13. Just got my LE2 nickel dragon on copper and RE nickel dragon on antique gold coins in the mail today. These are wonderful, my new favorite.
  14. I just got back to the site, so yes it's up. Sounds like your service provider might have a problem with thier DNS servers. I'm using Comcast and did a trace route on thier website and never hit a Network Solutions server.
  15. These are very nice, I just ordered 2 silver and a bronze. My wife is going to love it. It will remind her of our stay in Dornoch Castle for a friends wedding.
  16. It will also read GPX files off of the SD card, place them in the same directory structure. No you can't move the maps over, they are unlocked to only one device so you'd get an error when the 400t powers up if you install them to it.
  17. As someone who has just started to buy coins. I very much appreciate the intent and efforts behind this thread. If interested in a coin on ebay I immediately google it's name trying find out any info I can. So a post here giving the correct details would be great, no reason to include a link to the ebay item or even mention it. Have a sticky thread with no editorials each post short and simple making it easy to search. Something like. Coin or series Name: Designer: Mint: 50 in Black nickle 2006 LE 200 gold 2006 75 brushed silver 2008 SE Silver minting ongoing 400 so far
  18. Thanks, that's what I'll do.
  19. I just got an Oregon 300 from REI but it makes no sound at all. Setup - System - Tones is set to on. Is there some other setting or should I take it back.
  20. Yeah, I was leaning towards the 300 but then got to wondering if the 4g internal for the 400t vs the 1g in the 300 would make a difference in function or speed?
  21. I'm looking at getting a Oregon unit, now which one. I'm a flat lander living in the Chicago area and do most caching in this state so topo is not that important to me. I would buy City Navigator for it. So do I go with the 300 and save money or buy the 400t for more internal storage and delete the topo to make room for City navigator? Also would you wait for the 500/550 series, Things that interest me there are three axis compass and 5000 caches. Based on Garmin history - Is it really coming this month or do they usually have delays and will it be really buggy for several months?
  22. I'm just starting out and only have ten coins. I was thinking of buying two of each coin, one to trade unactivated and another to keep. I've seen listings for adoptable and then listings for unactivated. I would think that the coins are worth more unactivated but I see people post about having people discover their collection at events. So what do you do, activate or not?
  23. Cap'n I say we be getting some duck hats for disguises from the pond then we ride down the water way next to the road right past the wags. Grab the booty and have the slop master make us some rum soaked duck.
