  1. Congratulations! I would love to attend. Maybe I will be able to next year.
  2. Dear yanagi, Thank you for always being on the lookout and posting information about various great new coins. I love seeing them. These I cannot resist. :-) They look so beautiful.
  3. So, fairies do exist! :-) That is really comforting to know. If anyone desires to send a surprise coin or pathtag to Hungary, a country very poor from a geocoin point of view (,but rich in many other aspects) I do not mind sharing my address at all. :-) Boglarka Lazar Gorbe dulo 2/B 7635 Pecs Hungary
  4. nevadanick, it seems to me that your coin has been in Hungary, Spain, Poland, Lithuania, Sweden and now in Finland, not only in Lithuania and Sweden. Or only the most important stages are listed? I am offended. (Just joking)

They are even cuter than the parents! Will you have a group project for these, too?
  6. Email sent: May 8, 2014 Name received: May 11, 2014 Mission sent: June 12, 2014 Mission arrived: June 12, 2014 Mission received: My envelop could say a quick hi to the one arriving from nevadanick, before being taken away. Nice coincidence. And even nicer surprise inside the envelope! Did you know that this is a coin I have been longing for for a long time? Not only the perfect coin, but also the perfect timing! I am leaving tomorrow for a long vacation and now I can take your coin that wants to travel with me. By the way, that is a beautiful coin, too, but I already have that one. :-) So, I am lucky, it is not the other way round that I have to let the Bicycle go, and keep the beautiful Dandelion. And here is the question: would you like me to drop your coin in the first cache I find suitable - which is likely to be in Spain, next week, or would you like me to keep it for a few weeks longer and visit caches in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia before letting it go? These mission games are really neat! I was so happy with the coins I received at Easter or at Christmas, too. I hope my coins are good enough, and put a smile on the recipients' faces, at least as wide as mine is right now. Thank you!
  7. I have not received any response from you.

  9. Oh, yes, I am interested! An excellent idea for a mission! Email sent: May 8, 2014 Name received: Mission sent: Mission arrived: Mission received: All coins and cachers are welcome in Pécs, Hungary!
Mindegyik érme a követőkódon kívül sorszámmal is rendelkezik. A számok az érme peremén kaptak helyet. A követőkód előtagja HU.
  11. Very dynamic design. Impressive.
  12. Coin, Postcard of home area, 10 best local caches listed - I love the idea! Lucky I have recently received my personal coins showing a historical sight in my city. All I need to buy is the card! And I would love to list our 10 best caches! Oh, I wish you came to find them! But so few foreign cachers end up in Pécs. Hungary just promotes Budapest and maybe Lake Balaton. So, if tourists don't stop in Vienna or Prague this is all they see of Hungary. Who cares about 2000 years old Pécs? This mission could be a nice promotion to our not so well know local areas. let's do it! So the coin is not a secret any more. But,who will get it? If it is against the rule to show the coin in advance, I will choose another one. I am just so happy with my coin, I could not resist showing it.
  13. Beautiful coin. I would love to buy or trade one.
  14. I did it! I could resist the temptation and opened Intrepid Dyad's envelope only today! It has been sitting on my desk for nearly a month! Thank you very much. I like the coin a lot. I like animal coins and I love tucans! This will always be a special coin for me.
  15. Dear Decer, I did it! Thank you very much. I figured it must be something trivial. That is why I felt really stupid. Thank you for not letting me feel that way for too long.
  16. I am trying hard. How on earth do I post a picture? It always says that the extension of the picture is not acceptable, so I finally just posted the links. I tried jpg and gif. What should it be? What do I do wrong? I could not even figure out how to delete my post. It is embarrassing that I am so incompetent in this forum.
  17. I have been dreaming of having my personal geocoin for years. But what should be on it? Finally during the Christmas break I came up with the design with the help of my children. We first tried it out on a pathtag (drawn by Márton24), and then we pulled our courage and resources together, came up with the picture for the back and with the wonderful help of Brittany Lagan from Coins and Pins we created the coin! 100 pieces were made, 60 of the Brown Winter version, 40 of the Mediterranean Winter version. The size is the regular 44.5 mm diameter, 3 mm thick. There is a little 3D design used, for example the rocks under the translucent die are not at the same level, but the surface is nice and smooth. The theme: a 15th century fortified section of the city wall of Pécs, with my geocacher buddies, the then 4 and 2 year old Márton24 and Bojta. As I cannot draw well, the design started out with two photos. The one on the front I took many winters ago with the children on it. The backside is based on a picture we found on the internet. I used Photoshop to turn the photos into drawings and then Bojta drew the children there where they were missing on the back. So it is the back and forth view of the same structure and the same children. When I designed this coin I thought this would be my one and only, so I wanted to make sure it has every feature I like in a coin: it depicts my home town (where my family has been living and walking through these arches since the 17th century), and it shows my children. The coin is trackable and each has a serial number. The tracking code starts with HU, as in Hungary. And it has its own icon. Now I am already thinking of my second coin. :-) It will be very different. Not so "tourist friendly", but much more personal, still universal. So, if I can get rid of these… But, it is hard to let them go, they are so beautiful. At least for me. But, I hope you like them, too. Please send me an e-mail if you would like to buy or trade. Part of my collection that I would like to sell or trade can be checked out here: http://indafoto.hu/strombus/geocoin

Email sent: March 9, 2014 Name received: March 9, 2014 Mission sent: March 21 Mission arrived: March 25 Mission received: March 20 from Intrepid Dyad Bartians, the envelope was thick because I already included your 20%. Didn't you find it? :-) I am happy you like my coin. I received an envelop from Intrepid Dyad last Thursday, but so far I could resist the temptation of opening it. It is hard. Getting harder every day. But, it is nice to look at the envelop and think of its secret inside.

  21. Name sent: NOVEMBER 24,2013 Name received: NOVEMBER 25,2013 Mission sent: DECEMBER 4, 2013 Mission received: DECEMBER 17, 2013 Thank you Laval K-9 for the truly Christmas related XXLE coin! I have never had a coin before with just 15 minted! I am very happy with it and also with your little signature item. :-) Sorry, it seems I forgot to post it here, but I did send a personal thank you letter when I received it.
  22. What I think might have happened: sometimes when you mistype a tracking code, it ends up to be the tracking code for another geocoin. On some events the organizers compile a list of all the TBs, coins that were there and send it to all participants who want it (I think it is a terrible custom, discovery means to me that I actually touch the coin). So, maybe someone mistyped another coin's code and included the wrong code (your code) on the list. Now, all the event participant who got the list, log your coin. They don't remember the coin anyway, so they cannot catch the mistake. I would keep deleting their logs, too. :-)
