1600 mah nimh batterys are the only way to go. Wally World has a charger (4 place) auto shut off for $9.99 and 4 pk of batterys for $10.56. Two to use and two spares.they are supposed to last 3x longer than nicds. I get 3-4 afternoons of use out of a set.
