  1. I found them here in Anchorage in a coin store.
  2. I got mine here. Nice stamp and relatively fast delivery. <-------------
  3. If it's been awhile since you looked at our webpage, you should look again. Change is a happening.
  4. If you followed Ladybug Kids link, you may have found the Geocache Alaska Website. In the Projects List you'll see we have two events planned in April. They are a GREAT way to meet other Geocachers. Hope to see you at one or both of the events.
  5. I recently had to change the email on their list to my work address so I would have a chance of getting one of these coins! Each time I received an email I went to the site immediately to sign up but they were already sold out! You folks are fast!! you have to be up at something like midnight eastern time to get them, that is when the last several e-mails went out. I'm on the email list and still missed this one. Still think it is bogus! And look for another place I've posted that was negative.
  6. Yes, I think it is wrong. The thing that is really screwed up is that at c&p, they say that the coins will not be pre-sold at any website. Either usageoco*** broke their word or there was a misunderstanding somewhere. I agree 100%. I am very upset that a select few got the coin and now we will probably end up buying from them on Ebay. A buch of crap!!
  7. We may have a forum but not before we do some other tweeks to what we have now. Our main priority now is to get the site ready to sell the 2006 Alaska Geocoin.
  8. Here is my list. I don't think I duplicated any of Ladybug Kids or Northwes'. Hope you can attend our CITO Event, April 22. Details are here
  9. Geocaching in Alaska never stopped. We are a cache rich environment with ingeneous caches in VERY scenic country. And typically Alaskan, we value our independence and individuality. Saying that, I also understand your comment! Thanks! Vinegar Joe Stilwell is alive and well in your motto!!!
  10. We recently formed a very informal organization known as GeoCache Alaska. Informal = no dues (yet), no formal structure. The most we've done to organize is select area representatives that Alaskans can contact with concerns and that can discuss Geocaching with land managers and others. And WE HAVE A WEBPAGE!!! For more details go to: www.geocachealaska.org Feel free to leave comments to the contacts listed there. Caching the Greatland One Cache at a time.
