  1. I'm having the same issues. I have Microsoft Edge and IE and get the same problem with both. I cannot get to a page 2 on anything including my trackables . Also I cannot edit anything. Trying to start a new TB and I cannot edit. It is like it is in a loop and just goes back to the same page/screen. I wanted to make a correction on a log and cannot do that either. Hopefully HQ is working on this and it will be resolved soon. In the meantime, it is annoying.

  2. Is anyone else having difficulty with the maps? When we map the location, it no longer shows the smiley for caches we've found and the star for caches we own.

    Just checked and I'm good.

Are you zoomed out too far? (he hesitates to ask someone with so many finds)

Good thought, but we've zoomed in and out - still shows as cache symbol (traditional, multi etc) even on caches we've found or own.

  3. Okay, so we are now able to view the maps by removing Geocaching.com from the compatibility mode. However, here's the dilemma - we had a previous issue with being able to download a single cache directly to the GPS and the solution was to ADD Geocaching.com to compatibility mode.

Will there be a solution so we don't have to keep adding/removing Geocaching.com from compatibility mode? It is awkward and inefficient.

    Thanks!

  4. I have since done a bit more searching on this forum and found the following post. 'I guess you are using Internet Explorer 11? In your browser, go to "Tools" then select "Compatibility View Settings". Add Geocaching.com to the list of websites. That should fix the problem' I did not know what Internet Explorer I was using but tried this anyway and the problem has been solved. Give it a go and see if it works.

We were having the same problem with downloading individual caches (both to the Oregon 550t and our Nuvi. We followed these instructions and are back in business! Thanks for the suggestion, like you not sure which version if IE we are using, but this has solved our problem too! Thanks!

  5. We bought our Geomate, Jr when it first came out and enjoyed finding "bonus" caches on our caching runs. Even picked up an extra state on a road trip. We've found it to be very accurate and were eagerly awaiting the update kit. We ordered it as soon as it became available. Alas, no success in getting the update installed. I have tried several times following the basic instructions provided (it all sounds SO easy) but I've had no luck with this one. I'm not a real strong techie, but have had no issues installing other caching software on my computer.

Each time I try the update software, it starts the installation wizard and gets partly through the process and then causes my computer to re-start. Since I cannot get the software installed, I cannot get any farther in the update process. My computer uses Microsoft XP operating system.

Has anyone else experienced this and, if so, found a solution? HELP!

  6. We purchased a Geomate, JR shortly after they came out and have been very happy with it. We've gotten some "bonus" caches that we wouldn't have with just our Garmin. We are amazed with its accuracy. Needless to say we were anxiously awaiting the update kit.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to download the software. Each time I try (and I have tried too many times), the install wizard starts up and then before finishing something causes my computer to restart. The software just isn't there. My operating system is Windows XP. If anyone has encountered this problem and resolved it, please let me know what you did that made it work.
