  7. You'll have mail... Nope, I don't. Have not received an email from you or a reply to the one I sent you after seeing this post Hey AG We told you that "You'll have MAIL"..
  8. You know your a geocacher when.... you have to phone a fellow geocacher to get the Rangers to get you out of the park. And then take their pictures while everyone is laughing about it. Afterall it's not a real good day geocahing with the Mafia until there is law enforcement involved somewhere.
  9. I am sitting here in disbelief. Is this really what we have become? Why? Because not everyone agrees with your general opinion? No. Because if honesty and integrity are not absolute in someones life, they do not exist at all. It's their meaning that is up for grabs, and your meaning is simply one among many. But this is america, where everyone's opinion is right; that must make you feel good about yourself. I'm sorry Vashuers, but I'm going to have to agree with Klatch. Thank God I live in America where everyone has the right to an opinion, but not everyone's opinion is right. And that's fine, if we all had the same opinions then life would be pretty dull. I don't think you understand what you are agreeing with. The point is that dude thinks there is only one way to understand honesty and integrity, namely the nomenalistic way. My point was that he was wrong to assume that honesty is absolute, to which he seems to think we are left floating in the abyss. Nevertheless, his lack of sight causes him to mistakenly assume anything, even honesty, is absolute. If the Nazi's knock on your door asking you if you are hidding Jews in the basement, which you happen to be doing, are you going to be honest with them? If not, where does one draw the line? Who determines where or when we draw the line? You say saving a life is the line, how about if you know where Hitler is and some one who wants to kill him asks you where he is, are you honest with them even if it costs a life? Is it the numbers of lives that are stake? If we know polluting rivers kills fish in the Amazon and small tribes that have spent thousands of years living on the fish begin to starve because the of the pollution, should we honestly stop polluting the rivers? Or is progress more honest than tradition? Be very careful with blind american band standing. Yes I do understand what I'm agreeing with. Your concept of moral relativity has at its logical end, the point where it is ok to do anything. While we're on the Nazi references, moral relativity used by you and first put forth by Fredrick Neitzche, was the basis for the Nazi dogma of killing the unpure. The Storm troopers were doing the honest thing in thier minds. OK now that we've left the thread here entirely and have reached a debate about the definition of honesty, its time to move on. Great minds have debated honesty, ethics and the nature of good and evil for centuries. It still isn't settled and may never be. As for american band standing , I am proud to be an American. If your not, thats ok with me.

  11. You say that Pocket Caches are used at events to Break the Ice.. Here is my question.. Why, do you need to have a pocket cache to break the ice?.. We have Co-Hosted 1 event and hosted another event.. We did not have Pocket Cache's at neither event.. And you know what.. We had a kick butt time.. At our 1st Co-Hosted event we met many folks, developed some good friendships and they are still going strong.. At our 2nd event we had cacher's calling us from other states checking in and participating in the day's activities, and you know what.. Not 1 of them claimed the event as a find.. So What is wrong with just walking up to someone the old fashion way and saying.. Hi, I am (insert name here).. My Geocaching name is (insert caching name here).. And take the conversation from there. When you meet someone on a business trip or at your child's school function do you go feeling them up or asking them if that's a cache in their pocket or are they just happy to see you?? Come on folks.. This is just plain simple command sense.. If it has a Red Line Drawn through it, then it's not meant to be logged any longer..
  12. Correction.. Our Approver/Reviewer was a "Log Police".. And since our "Log" was not to their liking, not only was "EVERYONE'S" log deleted, the entire "CACHE" was deleted.. There was no reason for any of the activity that was taken out on our cache to be done.. We played by the rules, but was told we were trying to pull something over on the Approver/Reviewer.. What could that be?? We had 2 log's for 1 cache.. Now how is this any dadgum different that what all those who are playing the Pocket Cache game?? I know for a fact a couple of those Pocket Cache's where orginally destroyed either by Muggle or Mother Nature.. So dont go telling us that some of the Approver's/Reviewer's dont go "Stalking" certain cacher's caches..
  13. Or kill the event, and all the finds that every person that logged the event claimed! Say it ain't so! That could never happen! This is America!! Not that, that would ever happen, huh??
  14. The "reviewers" are probably watching this thread and seeing whether or not the community can come to a reasonable conclusion about this activity. Then the Reviewer should know exactly what we are talking about then.. Shouldnt they...
  15. Maybe we should all stop putting the blame on the folks who are "Logging" these archived cache's and move it over to the "Approver's" who are fully aware of what is going on yet they choose to do not do nothing about it.. NOW, before the public flogging starts.. We know for a FACT (at least here in Florida) the approver's have the power to not only delete the find, they also have the power to kill the cache!!
  16. Doc, Check out the Craft store over at Page Field By Toys R Us.. They have some of the foam and the cutting tools.. The Godfather got our sleeves at the book store right next to the Craft store..
  17. Once you get to this link. Geocaching Adoption Page.. And you sign in.. Which number are you placing the in the box to look up?? Is it the TB#### located on the TB's web page or the TB Tag #.. You need to use the TB#### that is on the web page.. We just helped a friend adopt out a bunch of TB's and we didnt run into any problems.. Hope this help's.. PM us if you need any other information..
  18. We are with brainsnat here on this one.. LM
  19. That would have to be our favorite Icon..
  20. We do not believe in Pocket Cache's.. We do not think it's right to walk up to another person and ask "If that's a cache in your pocket or are you just happy to see me".. If we are going to do any walking we want it to be to a hidden container of some sort that we find hidden, not just being passed around the table.. Thats just us.. But as for the Event in question.. We do feel violated for one of the PC's that was at the event was a "Joint" hide with another geocacher.. Our name still show's on this cache page along with the owners.. We never thought that the archived cache that we shared would be used as a PC.. It wasn't until we started getting all the e-mails of everyone who claims to have found it.. This is pretty sad, for the enjoyment of getting those e-mails was back when the cache was active and people would comment on the container the cache was hidden in.. Anyways.. We do not want to be know as cacher's who pratice PC'ing.. As for the locking of Archived Cache's.. We are all for it.. LM
