  1. @mykez Was going to install Geocaching app and this showed up in suggestions. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ch.capslock.tbscan I have not installed it so I don't know exactly what it does as far as your question but it is strictly TB related.
  2. It is an interesting idea, though. It easy enough to go to my insurance company's website page and pay my bill there, but they offer an app for easier use. I could see where this could get some use.
  3. Thanx both of you for your help. I was able to log the finds. jholly I never knew about geocachingadmin.com what a great link. thanx/
  4. This has probably been addressed before but I have not been here in a long while. My uncle and I were on our way to a wedding today and he just happen to have a short list of cache locations we could hit along the way. He is a premium member, I am not. I got home this evening and went to log my find and found out that I have to be a premium member to log it. Is there a way to do so since I was with a premium member who took me along on the find, or do I essentially "eat" these two finds until I become a premium member?
  5. I don't have a team name, although I do cache with my uncle quite a bit. But like a few others here I was also blessed with a great sirname. Haye. Lots of jokes over the years, but have always been proud of my name. I wanted to have a little fun with it so used Hayemaker. Let the jokes begin. Extra points for originality.
  6. Just so there?s no misunderstanding, it was just an observation. Not an attack. I knew someone would misunderstand. in all fairness. you did say let the attacks come. or something to that effect. but again no personal attack was intended on my part.
  7. Not angry. Just making a point. As for the spelling. I am sorry I am using my phone and keep hitting extra buttons.
  8. I don't get the family sport comment. Do you consider religion somehow anti-family? Family's have been split over religion. People argue, fight and kill over religion. This forum is a one good example. Keep religion out of geocaching and save it for your worship day. Now let the attacks begin. Families ahve been split over sports. People argue, fight and kill over sports. Soccer is a good example. Whats your point? Should all sports related swag now be considdered inopproproiate? I only worship on days that end in Y.
  9. Being a God fearing Baptist. I think that tracts are a waste of time. People never recieve them well. I only hand them out when asked. Some of us think that if we can hand out or place enough of these we may win another soul. Not true, one must enter the marketplace of ideas in conversation not with tracts. Caches are not a place to leave this type of material. You only succeed in making more stuff to throw out.
  10. All the negativity about FTF. Have you read the benefits of a premium mermbership lately?" "Be Instantly Notified of Geocaches Be the first to find a geocache when you receive Instant Notifications about newly published geocaches on your cell phone or other mobile device. " By this selling point there seems to me to be a valid point for some people to enjoy the thrill of being the first one there. So says Groundspeak.
  11. Eastern Oregon Cachers frequent this forum. There are other forums and groups in the state as well. thanks you have been very helpful
  12. I am relatively new to the hobby of geocaching, thirty six finds, and am looking for fellow cachers here in the area to discuss local caches and share experiences. I was hoping to maybe find a club or organization close to my area to meet my fellow geobrothers and sisters.
  13. I would imagine that it is the same every where, but here in my area there seems to be a large amount of trackables that are taken and not logged or even dropped off and not logged. I have a Travel Bug find that says I took it from someone in Alaska and put it in a cache in Oregon 2 days later. (Never been to Alaska)
