  1. I have MapSource Metroguide data on my 60cs and on a recent trip I noticed that as I got to a "border" of a Metroguide map, the next map over would be covered by a green fence-like image. Had anyone else experienced this? I'm assuming that its normal, as its using 1 map and then switching to another? Who knows. Any comments are welcome.
  2. OK, I tried what you said: to make the route on the computer and then upload it to the GPS. It looked like a nice route on the pc, it followed the highways as well as the rural roads. But when I drove the actual route, as soon as I exited the highway, my gps didn't follow the rural roads. I guess I might have to buy CitySelect?
  3. I drove down to Ocean City, NJ, a few weeks ago and used my 60cs (with Metroguide USA maps uploaded) to navigate the route. It worked perfectly, until I had to turn off of the highway onto smaller roads closer to the beach. It seems as though the 60cs won't recognize smaller roads for routing? As soon as I got off of the highway, the highlighted line changed into a "as the crow flies" line to my destination. Is there any option somewhere to get it to recognize non-highway roads?
  4. haha yeah I was wondering what that dot was as well! It's on the 60cs too! Thanks for clearing it up!
  5. Hey all, just wondering how many of you go geocaching alone. I love geocaching, but my buddies are always working when I have time off, so I usually go solo. Is it safe? Is it smart? What do you guys think?
  6. Hey guys, This is a "like new" Garmin Etrex Legend. I have used it a couple times in the car, but other than that, it is brand spankin new. It comes in the box with everything it originally came with (except for the upc from the box - I sent in the $30 rebate ) Purchased it for $199 at Gander Mountain, so with the rebate it is $169. I would like to sell it for $150 if anyone is interested. As an added bonus, I will preload some MapSource data to cover an area of your choice, just email me the zipcode. If for some reason you don't want the added detail, no problem, just tell me. mbasa1212@aol.com if you need any more info, etc. Thanks for lookin.
