Help Fixing a Broken GPS

I've been there but didn't find anything. I just posted that question to see if anyone can help. -
We have a Triton 300 GPS. Recently (during an update) the GPS stopped working. After going through developer mode and updating it that way, my top bar (i.e. battery level, time and gps strength) is not working. Wondering if anyone knows how to fix that?
