I've thought about drilling a small hole into a tree to hide a nano cache.. but I just can't bring myself to do it...I'm sure someone would complain if i did that... if you guys don't think it's a problem.. tell me..

well i'm trying to log a cache that i just found... and i keep timing out.... anyone else getting a server error???

I have both cases.. and my 60cs is in the glisson case. it's way easier to access the external antenna and usb port with the gilsson case.... the garmin one is just not as convienent. i think the plastic over the directional circle button makes it kind of stick sometimes... as for dirt getting into the buttons.. nope.. unless you drag yours in the dirt i suppose.. I bought my 60cs when the first came out and mine still looks new! if you want i can sell you the garmin case at a slightly discounted price... since it's hardly used at all..all it has on it is a little dust! search my old posts and you can see pics of the garmin case

Most people don't want to spend the money to buy cool swag. It could get pretty expensive if you bought cool items for every trade.. that's one reason I have nice swag and only trade items when I find cool stuff. But I really don't trade much. Just sign the log and i'm done. Now as for hiking miles in the hills to find "gumball maching swag," well that just plain sucks... I can understand that kind of stuff in urban caches.. (little kids like that kind of stuff.)

Oh SNAP!!! I've had my 60cs for over 2 yrs and it always takes me right to the caches... btw.. there have been plenty of times when the magellian guys have been way off....

I started with a foretrex 201.. did alot of mtb'ing in korea and it fit perfectly on my handlebars. then i got a yellow etrex... which i gave as a ftf in one of my caches...(GCRRKV). Then I got a Garmin 60cs. I think my next upgrade will be the 60csx. I hear with this gps i won't need my external antenna anymore.

The best way is to wait for all muggles to leave. other methods i've used... the old fake tying your shoe take a camera and pretend to take pictures..

I realize you're in the UK, but most crafts stores carry them.. Is there a store in the uk called michaels.. in the us this is where alot of people get them.

what's gz? and is your gps datum set to wgs84?

I'd ask them to upgrade my gps... from my 60cs to a 60csx.

I'd get one of those cameras that deer hunters leave out in the field. then make a new travelbug/coin hotel... publish it.. then when you see the pics of the dude stealing the coins, you'll know who is doing it. i really hate it when coins get stolen from my caches.. it makes me feel guilty..

I'm down for buying atleast 2 of them.. I don't want to read the whole thread, so what was the price supposed to be and when do we/can we order?

If you drop a geocoin you own in a cache, then "find" it or grab it back, it won't show up on your found side. i guess you can see that i've never done that... does anyone on here have the aztec icon? who's found one?

well after all this discussion and the thoughts i'm having myself... i think i'll just keep the coin for myself and maybe let some friends log it if they want... i've only sent out 3 tb's and one went missing.. the other 2 have been kind of dormant and to tell the truth.. i'm not seeing the results witht he tb's that i thought i'd see.. another question now... is it wrong of me to place my coin in a cache and "find" it? honestly it seems kind of cheesy for me to place the coin and then pick it right back up...

ebay.... i ended up paying $20.52 for it. The more I think about it... i'll probably let a few friends "log" it and have them give it back. I wish I would have gotten 2 of them now... but i'm really not sure i want to pay that much for 2 coins...

should i send it out.. it's really cool and I really think it will dissapear if i send it out... comments.... if i do send it the people that find it will get this icon on their list...

It's in very good condition.. always kept in a case. The only thing about it is that it has a small "krinkle" in the antenna which is only cosmetic and I don't have the original box anymore. I have all original software, manual and cables. I can also include whatever maps you want so you can autoroute to just about anyplace.. depending on what maps you want. If you want you can also email me your gpx file and i'll put in all the caches you want.. Case and 60CS No Scratches Works Great inside (notice gilsson antenna on window seal. I may include this too. "Krinkle"

i just bought some lithium batteries.... but the only settings are for NiMH and alkaline.. which setting should i use?

Without the search button i can't really help you much.. but I was reading on here about a year ago and some guy had placed one very near the south pole... that would not only take special training and equiptment..but.. alot of Bling Bling cash money!

I am just wondering .. on my stats page it says I have 197 finds... when people say they have xx finds.. are they reading the 197 value? or the 176? Just curious.
