Hi all ....we have a Travel Bug that has gone from NH to Washington...Which is great ....But this cacher "4K"crew ..grabbed it from the cache "PEACE BOX" 9/17/05..since then it has been in their possesion.....I have contacted them & they said they would place the TB soon ..they never have.....since then I have tried to contact him since to no avail....If anyone knows this cacher could you find out if he still has our TB ....Thanks all

I own a Garmin GPS 12 ...I now own a 60cs ...I have found many caches w/my GPS 12 & it is a very good unit ...just no mapping & it doesnt count down to the cache in feet .....09 .08 .07 & so on ....It is a very sturdy unit & a bit heavy ....but it is a great unit for beginners...I am in the process of selling mine as we just got a 60cx

I have looked on GPSonsale.com & have seen the 60cx on sale for 329.99 minus the $50 rebate for a final price of $280.....not sure what the shipping is tho

does anyone know how to unactivate a coin??? We bought 2 coins to give to friends for a milestone....we got them engraved & in the process mixed the activation papers .....so 1 person activated the wrong coin ....we would like to unactivate this coin so when the right person gets the other coin they can activate it themselves

I would say if you are planning on spnding $300 you should look into a Garmin Map60cx ....I think that is the best bang for your buck ....just my opinion

I use mine in our jeep but have taken it out to use in other vehicles & it holds very well you dont have to rest on dashboard....just make sure before you place suctioncup to windshield ..the windshield is clean

I have run PQ's for awhile now....but the last 2 weeks or so I have not been getting any e-mails on the day I click to recieve them...1st I thought they were late but I just do not get them..I have tried changing my queries to see what happens .....& nothing ....when i usually run my found queries I will get an e-mail for that ....anyone know whats wrong ...

What brand and model GPSr do you have? If yours has an antenna plug in port, then by all means get an antenna. Gillson's are good ones. I have heard of Gillson antennas..My question is do they boost your reception like the sirf antennas do in the X models of Garmin GPS'

Can you download to the chip waypoints as well as maps???? I have heard you cannot ..Please set me straight thanks

Thanks to all .....I found a web site www.palm.com & on it it said preform a softreset by pushing the reset button on PDA....I tried it & now everything is OK ...I hope maybe this will help someone else & I thank all of you for your assistance

You can get them even cheaper ....I got one on Ebay for $15 & $5 shipping $20 total it was a sony clie SL10 & it has been working great I love ...."GO PAPERLESS"

yes it does connect with usb.....How do I remove it then reinstall it ..forgot to say that my GPS uses the same cable & I have no problem downloading waypoints to it ......Thanks

I have a sony clie sl10 that I have used for a few months now with no problem....Puter acted up a few days ago & now when I perform a HotSync it will not download into the PDA hotsync icon is still in my task bar lower left of puter screen ....it is like I dont have the PDA attached to the puter....I have checked all my connections & everything is ok ....any ideas ?????Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used my GPS 12 to cache for about a year....I did very well with it & I liked it ...but then I updated to a 60CS & have not regreted it at all ...I love the autorouting & color .....if u can afford it I'd recommend a 60CX ...but just my opinion

I bought a Sony Clie SL-10 on ebay for $15 + $5 shipping & then $8 for cachemate .....I love it so for $28 I am now paperless caching

I have done that to.....how do I tell if the puter & gps are connected ...when ever I connect it I do not hear any sound or see anything that shows it is connect

Hi All ...A new englander here ....I have a TB "RVing across America (haRVy)" ...he was doing real well until he got to this cache Peace Box GCMVT2...he was opicked up by this cacher "4K"crew 9/17/05 ....& he has yet to drop him off ...I have e-mail him twice & the 1st time he wrote me to say his wife had undergone emergency surgery & he would drop him off soon ....that was early december ...I wrote him to say that I understood & that if he couldnt get it in a cache he could mail it to be & i'd pay postage.....havent heard anything ....any help would b appreciated..... I own 2 GPS' a 60cs & an old GPS12 which i still like..I bought a combined cable for puter & car lighter...I was able to download waypoints from GSAK once & if I remember right had to do something special....But now for the life of me I cannot remember what to do ...any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

Started with a GPS 12 I liked it then upgraded to a GPSMAP60CS This 1 I LOVE ....dont know if I want to upgrade a a CX yet
