I had the exact same problem with my 60csx. This also happened going into the tunnels in boston after the tobin bridge. I had to turn my unit off then back on to get my unit to find satellites again.

What is the deal with the search function, why is it taking so long to fix? It is getting very annoying and the fourms are getting cluttered with duplicate posts all the time. Does anyone know the status?

I got my CSx yesterday and the card slot looks fine to handle swaps. I would just be gentile. It is not so much a slot than a cover that locks over the card

I received my Garmin 60CSx today and already found two caches in my local park!! This is my first GPS unit and I cannot wait to use it more. I am now ready to purchase some software for it. For Road Navigation do I want: City Navigator (CN), City Select (CS), or Metro Guide (MG). I cannot seem to figure out the difference in any of them. someone posted about CN and CS having different block sizes? I live in the state of NH. What is the most up-to-date one out there? For on trail "United States TOPO" seem like the only way to go. I am going to buy a 512 transflash card for my unit. Don't know it that makes a difference in recommending the mapping software.
